If you are visiting to explore the valley this traditional Japanese holiday house is the perfect basecamp. It is cosy, clean and full of local charm Having a car is essential, but its totally worth it. The drive to Nozawa Onsen is only 10 minutes so you have easy accss to the mountains while enjoying a much quieter spacious stay in iiyama. 711 is a short walk huge bonus for late night snacks. Roku Ramen was the best lunch weve ever had! Would love to come back for winter and explore all the nearby resorts
