It was a wonderful experience. Very tranquil. Love the location, the onsen, and the clean room, and the traditional Japanese experience.
Seating is not too comfortable but maybe we just aren't use to the low chairs

Traditional stay with friendly and helpful staffs. Snow monkey park is half an hour walk away making it very convenient and there was a Iocal cafe and a restaurant nearby. I was lucky to have the hot springs to myself and needed a relaxing break from the city. I would love to come back.

Charming traditional Ryokan with beautiful outdoor hot springs. Comfortable bedding, very large rooms with plenty of amenities and close to the Snow Monkey Park, 2 cafes, 3 restaurants and a bus station to travel to other areas. I particularly enjoyed some of the amenities in the room, including a fridge, green tea set and a traditional Japanese yukata. It made the experience culturally enriching.
