Perfect hidden gem in the heart of Malcesine

The apartment was an excellent location right in the heart of Malcesine, overlooking both the castle and the cable car. It was really clean, bright and modern and had everything we needed for our family trip. The air con worked really well, the beds were comfortable and we had two bathrooms which works well for a family. There was a lovely welcome basket when we arrived with some nice nibbles / treats / coffee etc and cold water in the fridge which was a lovely touch. Lisa, the host, was very helpful and communicated with us before / during our stay. She met us in the first day to show us the way to the apartment and was extremely approachable, friendly and helpful. On our last day she was very accommodating and was able to help us store our luggage for a couple of hours before we left as we had an evening flight and didn’t want to drag the cases round the narrow cobbled streets! She came to meet us before we left and very kindly gave our young children some little gifts before we left which were very much appreciated and they used on the long journey home. We can’t recommend Picalof apartments highly enough. We would love to return!

Best location great service in lovely apartment

Great hospitality and service. It was super important for Lisa the owner to make sure we are ok. The location was amazing! Right at the center of Malcesine. Short walk to the beach and the cable car to mount tobaldo. Great near by restaurants. Amazing experience. Thank you Lisa 😊

The property had everything we needed for our few days in Malcesine. Lovely balcony, shower and bed. Very close to the beaches, the shop for food, the Funivia for Monte Baldo, and lots of restaurants.

Belissimo! It was fabulous.

Excellent location for all of the attractions in the centre of Malcesine. 2 minute walk from the castle and 5 mins walk from the harbour. Lisa even gave us a list of the best places for pizza, pasta, bbq steak, ice cream etc. Beautiful apartment spotlessly clean with everything you could want for a family holiday.

I cannot think of anything negative to say. The apartment was ideally located. The facilities in the property looked brand new. Everything was very clean and well presented. Fabulous!

A very comfortable apartment in a gorgeous place.

The location was perfect, very central to everything. It was close to the castle where we were attending a wedding. Lisa was a lovely host , arranging for us to be met on arrival and accompanied to the apartment. We really recommend this apartment.

Highly recommended

This spacious, modern and bright apartment is situated in the heart of Malcesine. We felt very comfortable with everything being so tasteful, spotless clean and in perfect condition. Bars and restaurants are just around the corner. The owner is very nice and supportive.

Exceptional

Our host was brilliant and really made us feel welcome, she even went to the effort of writing us a list of all the best local restaurants which was amazing. The apartment is beautiful with really good views of the castle, location is also so east to get about the town and also there is a really good bar that serves nice guiness which was a bonus maria the bar woman was also good fun. Thanks for everything i had an amazing time 😃

Best stay in Italy!

I have been traveling, staying at lots of apartments in different Italian cities and by far this is the best apartment I've stayed at! Honestly it over exceeded my expectations. Initially we were greeted by the lovely owner and immediately shown where we could park for free. Then she kindly took us to the apartment, which was like 5min by foot. She(the owner) had even prepared a note with restaurant suggestions, which was highly appreciated. The apartment itself is so clean, bright, spacious and so thoughtfully equipped. Everything needed could be found in it. The apartment's location is perfect, super central, close to restaurants, shops yet so quiet at night. If I'd ever again end up near Garda lake, I'd definitely choose this apartment again!

A great apartment for a family with 2-3 kids.

We picked up the keys from the shop and the owner accompanied us to the apartment. The kitchen equipment was excellent-whatever one needed was there. Everything was high quality including the toiletries.nThe owner was very alert and prompt and had helped us for everything. In fact on our departure, she gifted us as a kind gesture a bottle of Olive oil from her shop.

That was no fault from the owner, in fact she tried to locate the tea box that I by mistake forgot in the kitchen-cabinet. I contacted the owner a day later of our departure that I left my 30 year old metallic tea box, to which I was emotionally attached. The owner was concerned and even looked up in the cabinet after two days when she entered the room for changing the towels. It was my bad luck that the box was not found, but the owner did everything possible to look for it.

Incredible host and an amazing location.

An amazing host! She made us feel very welcome and we could reach out to her with every question we had. The location was incredible. View on the castle and right in the city center. Everything was available in the kitchen and in the bathroom. The air-conditioning was also a plus with the heath wave we head.

This is perfect option if you are in Malcesine and looking for the apartment where to stay.

We stayed in the apartment on last floor. It is really cozy and modern. Location is excellent - center of city with everything needed around it. We received "welcome" present - some tasty cakes and water. :) Bathroom with window was fun too. We stayed at the apartment because of our wedding, and for this purpose it was perfect. We can't image better option where to stay. :)

Fantastisk lägenhet i fantastisk stad

Allt var fantastiskt! Lisa som proffsigt och trevligt visade oss tillrätta och gav perfekta tips inför vår vistelse. Den underbara nyrenoverade lägenheten längst upp med takfönster och utsikt åt flera håll, det otroliga läget mitt i den pittoreska lilla staden, närheten till havet, gångavstånd till allt, inklusive kabinbanan.

Lite för hård säng för min rygg, men övriga i vårt sällskap älskade sängarna. Saknade endast balkong, då hade lägenheten fått 10 ++ nu blir det 10/10 😁

Sehr schöner, entspannter Aufenthalt mitten in der Altstadt

Das Apartment liegt super zentral in einer kleinen belebten Gasse, innen ist es sehr ruhig, dank toll gedämmten Fenstern. Es ist super sauber, alles neu und nett eingerichtet. Hat sogar einen kleinen Balkon und eine gute Klimaanlage. Wir haben dort nicht gekocht, aber es gibt alles was man braucht. Sogar einen kleinen Korb mit Marmelade, Kaffeekapseln, etc. stand für uns da. Lisa war sehr freundlich, die Schlüsselübergabe hat wunderbar geklappt und es hat uns sogar noch jemand beim Tragen des Koffers geholfen. (Man kann nicht vor dem Apartment halten) Mein Mann hat etwa im Apartement vergessen und auch hier war Lisa super hilfsbreit und schnell - Nochmals DANKE!

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher - man fühlt sich wie Zuhause

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal im Picalof Apartment und sind immer wieder begeistert. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt - in einer kleinen, schönen Gasse mit Blick auf die Burg. Die Ferienwohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. In der nahen Umgebung ist alles was man benötigt - gute Bäckereien, ein Supermarkt und gute Restaurants und Bars. Zu Fuß ist man innerhalb weniger Minuten am Hafen und mitten im Geschehen. Der eigene Parkplatz ist ein großer Pluspunkt in Malcesine. Auch der herzliche Kontakt mit Lisa ist super! Wir kommen immer wieder gerne und fühlen uns sehr wohl.
