Large, clean bungalow in a quiet area

Large bungalow in a quiet area. The room was large and clean, Nice veranda to relax on. It's a 15 minute walk to the ferry port if you use the path through the fields. And 10 minutes to the local restaurants. Good Wifi. Friendly staff.

Perfect peaceful and very clean spot away from noisy areas.

Peaceful and away from noisy Main Street, accessed by a safe road. But a little easier with a scooter as most of Bali. Staff were very kind and helpful and kept the whole place immaculate. A/C really clean and powerful. Beautiful garden.

Worth every single penny

For this price, I have nothing to complain. The room comes with ac, hot shower, towels, disposable toothbrush. Very spacious and comfy. Easy check in .

A bit far from anywhere if you plan to wall when it's dark. Better to get a driver since it's not an island that you should bike or drive on your own.

Good value for money, functional location

We spent a few days at Nata Cottages and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and each has a lovely outdoor porch area where you can relax. The location was perfect for us — slightly away from the busiest tourist area, which made it quieter and more pleasant, especially for sleeping, but still close enough to walk or ride a scooter into town. The only thing we felt could be improved was the lack of a shared kitchen and fridge, and there was no place to refill water bottles (although they do provide a small bottle of water in the room). Overall, great value for money. And after chatting with the host, he kindly let us use a space in his fridge so we could keep breakfast items there, which was much appreciated.

We enjoyed our stay!

Nata cottages are lovely. I would advise having a bike if staying here, we personally didn’t and the walk wasn’t too great at night (very dark). But it was a short walk. Staff were very friendly and it was clean.

Nice and clean room, friendly and helpful staff. The toilets are a bit scary and are very dark and not very clean. At night it is very peaceful, sometimes there will be a power cut so be aware of that.

incredible for the price

lovely sized bedroom and porch, the location is close to the main strip and has a shop close by. beautiful place and incredible for the price!! we couldn’t believe it!

the bathroom was very big but awkwardly placed (huge but shower and toilet right next together), it was rather dark and quite smelly. got lots of mossies and bugs in there too. a freshen up would make the place outstanding

Good location on the island, rented a scooter from the hotel. Basic room, cheap. No breakfast possible, but that was no problem as there is good food everywhere.

Perfect place to stay!

Great location near to the restaurants but nice and quiet. Easy to organise a moped or ferry ticket through the owner. He sends useful information e.g. taxi price from port etc. The bed was super comfortable and the AC was great. Hot water in shower (salt water though). Nice to have a terrace with seating.

Some people are living in the rooms permanently. The room smelt a bit damp.

Passable for one night. Staff not very friendly. Breakfast included but they never mentioned it and when we messaged to ask we got no reply. We decided not to eat there anyway as it wasn't the cleanest.

Poor chicken in a small cage outside with no water. Mold in the curtains. Mirror was filthy and there were many ants.

Superb

We stayed a full week at Nata cottages. The small houses are surrounded by beautiful green nature. The wifi is very fast and there is even a socket on the veranda so you can sit outdoors while charging your laptop or phone. The breakfast is simple but very delicious. Coffee spots and restaurants are within further walking distance. We also rented a scooter for some days and everything was perfectly organized.

Excellent value for money. Really affordable with breakfast included. For breakfast you have choice of banana pancake with honey or omelet and toast.

we stayed 3 nights in this place. The room was nice and clean, and the balcony was perfect to chill. The breakfast was strong and good. The water in the shower was hot. The neighborhood is very calm. The location is not too far from the main street area which is good when you want to hang out but don't want to be bothered by the noisy crowd when you go to bed.

Not the right place for solo women.

Close to the beach.

My friend and I rented a scooter. My friend - staying in different rooms - checked out early to go diving. The property owner wasn't aware of this and he attempted to barge into my room while I was still sleeping before 9 AM. I later was told he attempted to check on the scooter, but at the time I was sleeping and indecent. Luckily, the door was locked. After the event, he remained on the porch speaking loudly on the phone after I specifically asked him to distance himself so I can return to my sleep. This felt unsafe as a woman. I would not recommend this place.
