Great location on the island to explore the different spots on Penida. Breakfast was good, pool is clean and outside area is comfortable (however, just three beach chairs is not sufficient when fully booked, which was not the case)

Bungalows are quite old now, some stains were on the walls etc. There were many mosquitoes in the bathroom (10-15 at a time) every day again as the window cannot be closed, this was annoying.

Wayan & his wife were so helpful, very kind people. the place is well located with few warung around for dinner. you can also directly rent a scooter with them to go around the island. very peaceful spot, definitely recommend the place !

amazing place to stay

We enjoyed our stay at Japa Bungalow so much it was amazing. The owners are so lovely and helpful with everything. They picked us up and dropped us off to our boat and made us a lovely breakfast each morning. it’s in a great location and they offer motorbikes to hire for the day to ride around the island which made it so easy to get around. The room and pool was also lovely. Would recommend staying here to everyone!

Bungalow in quiet area, for one night ok

Nice clean pool, quiet area because it's 100m away from the main road, the host organize tickets for you

The bungalow looks clean and nice but unfortunately the roof is probably leaking so I could see some wet spots on the ceiling. On the bathroom ceiling there was already molding spots. The air in the Bungalow was always very humid, I had to use the ac all night. The road to the Bungalows is pretty broken. Wouldn't recommend to rent the scooter there, it was pretty old and the breaks didn't work properly. The host was really pressuring me to buy tickets for the snokeltrip and ferry with them.

We were alone on the property and the hosts were soooo nice. they greeted us by our names everytime and brought us breakfast to our balcony. they even organized a scooter for us to rent. we loved our stay.

Would highly recommend!

From the beginning the hosts were so cheery and helpful. The room was very clean and the surrounding areas were beautiful. We really enjoyed breakfast each morning which was delivered right to our own sitting area outside our room. The bungalows are located near some local restaurants but it’s easy to rent a bike and easier for getting around to the main sites. The hosts organised our snorkelling trip and our boat journey back to Bali. We ended up staying another night because we loved it so much, would highly recommend!!

Very nice place with super friendly hosts. As the accomodation is a bit from the big road (but still close enough) it's very quiet over there to sleep. Nice pool. The hosts are very helpful to arrange a scooter, tours (snorkling) and they help out to fix transport. Highly recommended.

Amazing clean place with super hosts

Beautiful and clean place, with the absolute best hosts you can wish for. The accommodation is in a quieter area next to a temple. There are four Bungalows which makes it intimate and a great pool. The nice hosts make excellent breakfast and are there for all your requests. They offer pick up and drop off from the pier for a reasonable price and arrange scooters on request. We really loved the place and recommend it to anyone. We’ll surely come back next time we’re on nusa penida.

Wonderful place to stay and to discover the entire island

- Good location to discover the north and west sides of the island. But also not too hard to drive to the west and south parts. We based ourselves here for our entire stay and would do the exact same thing again. - Comfortable bed and very good-working airco. - Everything is very clean. - Nice breakfast. - Nice restaurants at walking distance. Definitely ask the owners for recommendations. They know the good places! - Wonderful pool to swim and relax. - The owners are very kind and always ready to help out. They also can arrange scooter and car for an excellent price!

We loved our stay and would be happy to come back. A very small point of improvement is that the temperature of the shower is difficult to regulate, or too hot or too cold, and the shampoo and soap containers do not work well.

Good price, nice hosts but don't expect anything extra.

Very friendly hosts, great banana pancakes for breakfast, the possibility of renting a scooter and transfer to the port.

Compared to other accommodation in the same price category, this was weak. Bad driveway, strong smell of waste from the sink, no room cleaning, very simple furnishings of the cottage.

This place is beautiful! Very nice pool, comfortable bungalows but more importantly great hosts. Pachu and his family were so helpful and kind to us during our stay, it made the experience really enjoyable. would definitely recommend.

Amazing and peaceful place

Jati and Pacul were really nice and helpful. Their place is really peaceful, we planned to stay 3 nights and we extended our stay, it was amazing. Pacul picked us up and dropped us off to the fast boat. He found a rental scooter for us. He also provided good advices for what to see in the island. The breakfast is so good, we recommend the banana pancakes, it's yummy 😋 We highly recommend staying at Japa Bungalow !

Owners are a wonderful couple who went above and beyond to make sure my stay was good. The bungalow is lovely. The pool is big and clean, and there's places to sunbathe. Breakfast was lovely with multiple choices. I wasn't sure about renting a scooter so he offered to take me on an island tour both days I was there. When my shoe broke they brought someone in to fix it for me.

Wifi wasn't great, took really long to load. Location wise there isn't anything close to get to without a scooter, BUT I think this is the case for all of Nusa Penida

Best stay of our trip, wish it was longer!

Loved it! Fantastic stay, wish it was longer. Stayed for 4 nights and Pacul & his wonderful wife are such kind and gracious hosts. He set us up with a snorkeling tour one day and we rented 2 scooters every day, both in good shape and drove them all over the island. Clean, large, private room with great A/C and a deck. It was raining one night and Pacul even drove to a Wrung to pick up our dinner so we didn’t go to bed hungry.

Hôtes très accueillants encore merci à eux

Nous avons séjourné 3 jours chez Wayan et sa femme, où nous avons été très bien accueillis, piscine magnifique et très agréable. Ne sachant pas conduire de scooters sur des routes aussi escarpées, Wayan s’est proposé pour nous conduire dans les différents sites à visiter durant notre séjour (comptez 2 millions de roupies pour ces 2 jours et demi). Nous retiendrons son amour pour Nusa Penida ainsi que sa gentillesse et sa musique Reggae. Très bon petit déjeuner également.

Literie moyenne mais pour quelques jours ça va Salle de bain vétuste, odeur d’humidité et égouts mais propre

Muy buena calidad precio!!!

Los anfitriones fueron súper amables y serviciales, sin duda lo mejor de la estancia. El lugar es muy tranquilo, con solo cuatro habitaciones, todas con entrada independiente, y una piscina compartida que en nuestro caso prácticamente sentimos privada porque siempre coincidía que estábamos solos cuando la usábamos. Un punto a tener en cuenta es el transporte en Nusa: no hay taxis ni demasiadas opciones, así que dependes casi por completo de los anfitriones para moverte. Eso hace que los precios los marquen ellos y no haya mucho margen de negociación (por ejemplo, para ir al harbour). Por lo demás, todo muy bien: cada mañana traían el desayuno a la hora acordada, con varias opciones para elegir, y siempre fueron puntuales y atentos :)

En general la experiencia fue buena, aunque la habitación necesita algo de mantenimiento, especialmente el baño: era un espacio muy básico con inodoro y ducha juntos, y es lo que más deberían mejorar.

Perfetto

Struttura accogliente e pulita in un giardino rilassante con una bella piscina. Wayan e la moglie sono gentilissimi e disponibili, abbiamo fatto un tour della parte ovest dell’isola a un prezzo onesto, ci ha consigliato dove mangiare lì vicino ed è veramente un piacere avere degli host così accoglienti. Ottima la colazione preparata dalla signora!
