A truly wonderful stay: warm hosts, peaceful vibes, and the perfect base to explore Nusa Penida!

Everything! The homestay had a perfect mix of comfort and authentic charm. The room was clean, and very cozy, with a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax after exploring the island. The hosts were incredibly kind and always ready to help with anything. The location was also ideal: quiet, yet close to great restaurants and stunning spots around Nusa Penida.

Honestly, nothing major! If I had to name something, maybe a slightly bigger space for storing luggage would have been nice but it didn’t take away from the experience at all.

I love Nusa Penida. :) The Homestay is on the main road and only a little bit noisy. Good bed. Smart tv! You can enjoy your netflix or youtube. :)

The bungallow was extremly small, about max 3x4m. It is good for only 1 person... The staff had not properly ventilated the room in recent weeks, causing a moldy, musty smell in the room. This is unhealthy, sadly. :( Only salt water in the bathroom...

Excellent place to stay in Nusa Penida!

The rooms were a little way back from the road so you don’t get all the traffic noise. Convenient location close to the ferry port and snorkel tour meeting points. Bed was very comfortable and the whole room was clean, I liked having the sofa and the balcony sitting area Hosts provide a menu for the restaurant next door (good food but slow service) as well as information about tours, snorkelling, scooter rental if you need it

I can’t really think of anything I didn’t like about this place except that there were a lot of those black caterpillars everywhere inside and out!

Originally had issues with my room. Odd smell. The hotel recognized it immediately and we changed my room. The staff was always accomidating and helped me rent a great scooter while I was on the island. Highly recommend!

Putu was amazing! Very comfortable room :) kettle, free coffee and tea.

The only things is that the shower doesn’t drain well only because of how the floor is made, so if you need gel to wash your hands you wet your feet, but it’s a minor inconvenient.

I did 5 days of diving with Scuba Junkies and stayed at this property for the duration. It is right next door to the dive centre and you walk from there to the beach to get on the dive boats. The Homestay let me check in about 4 hours early which was greatly appreciated. The room was fine, good bed, nice shower and toilet and a small stoop to sit out on for morning coffee. Their restaurant next door was excellent food and I ate their quite a bit as it was so convenient. Laundry is a 1 minute walk away as is the supermarket. Overall for diving with Scuba Junkies this place is excellent!

Everything is perfect! I love the clean and tidy room, the quiet and beautiful garden, the restaurant next to the homestay and the very helpful staff!!!! He offered me a free pickup from the Harbour, although it’s only 10min walk, but it’s a great comfort with a motorcycle, he also lent me a chargeur since mine doesn’t fit in. Very helpful!

Super comfy beds, extremely noisy

Wonderfully comfortable bed, good location not far from main Harbour and close to restaurants, laundry and small supermarket. Cute looking and pretty rooms

Extremely noisy. Walls are paper thin, the main road is 5 m away, and from 7am to 7pm there is a constant steam of cars and loud motorcycles. Not really their fault, but I could hear the staff hanging out, singing and laughing as if they were in my room. Also, just on the opposite side of the road there is a settlement that made music for hours every night. If you're a light sleeper, take earplugs!!

Nice and quiet place nearby the harbour (walking distance max 5 minutes). Shop next door, and a lot of places to eat in the area.

Smelly bathroom with low water pressure. Rented a scooter directly from this place which had engine problems. We had to abort our first trip to exchange scooter, which costed us a whole vacation day. Second scooter was fine.

Great facilities, cleanliness, staff and location

I had a wonderful stay at La Nusa. The room was super clean and smelling fresh, the greenery outside is stunning, the staff was very friendly (especially Putu), location was close to the main street and a short walk to bars and restaurants. They rent scooters in house for a cheaper price (if you’re brave enough). Hot shower available.

I booked for a premium but got a standard as previous traveler didn’t check out. It was not a big deal and it can happen.

Incredible value for money

The room was so beautiful! Balinese style decor, really comfy bed with soft bedding, nice outside sitting area. Free water refill and lovely staff. Quiet location but within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and cafes.

Nice Bungalow very close to the Ferry port. in previews reviews have talked about a smell in the bathroom, so I’m happy to report that the bathroom had a extraction fan and there were no smells. the shower was clean, the hot water worked and they made my bed everyday. The staff was lovely.

Honestly, my stay was lovely but considering the price I wish breakfast had been included. The hostel itself doesn’t have a kitchen but some hostels have deals with nearby restaurants. It would have been nice to have that option with the lovely restaurant next door. The toilet and sink in the bathroom were a little wobbly, but I can live with that.

One of the better Homestays we stayed in. The coffee & tea in the room was a nice touch, as was the soap in the bathroom. The aircon works nicely and the room is spacious. There was also hot water which you'll come to find is a luxury on the islands.

The place is very nice, the room is comfortable, spacious and relaxing, you can rest very well. The staff is very friendly. Next door there is a restaurant with a variety of meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner that works from 7 am to 10 pm, the staff is very very nice and the food is delicious. 10/10 The best place on the island, I am very happy that I found it, I enjoyed my stay very much.
