Beautiful view, kind staff, close to a gym

The outdoor bathroom was very amazing, added perfectly to the vibes of the hotel.

The lighting in the room was a little dull. The locks on the door could also be improved. I was travelling alone and couldn't figure out how to lock from the inside.

Peaceful & comfortable, but some improvements could be made

Quiet location, comfortable bed, easy to locate, taxi services offered as well as trips. Restaurants are about a 10-15 minute walk away but due to location, definitely easier to have a bike etc.

Breakfast is an option but only eggs & bread/rice offered. Most staff were lovely & helpful but breakfast day 1 there was a man spitting & burping which wasn’t particularly pleasant. The door to the bungalow locks from the outside but when you’re inside, only has a hook to secure doors. I felt safe but would have felt more secure with a better lock inside.

Week stay in Nusa with friends

It was a pleasure to stay here! Ketut is a wonderful host and helped with anything we needed. We spent a week in Nusa Penida and stayed here with our friends. We work remotely and were able to get our work done with the wifi. Our bungalow was cozy and I loved the outdoor shower. I already miss saying hi to Coco in the mornings and enjoying the midday rain showers from our bungalow.

The room is huge and beautiful! The toilet outside makes it feel magical, great experience! The location it’s ok, 15/20min walking distance to the beach and restaurants The owner was great, very friendly and helpful, and he made a delicious breakfast!

Clean, peaceful stay. Worth the money.

Good, Polite staff. Eco-themed cottages. Clean room and surroundings. Rental motorbike available. And owner himself dropped us, in his personal jeep, to the harbor when we requested for a taxi and he could not arrange it due unavailability nearby.

Bathroom fittings need a little Maintainence with leakage and broken shower enclosure. But worked fine. Eco cottages with wooden flooring had the typical screeching noise with slight movement as well.

The place was amazing, so wild and unique. It was really a good experience. And the staff is very friendly.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing, the juice was good but the eggs and the rice was always coming with a few extra friends (ants and flies).

The owner was very welcoming and quick responding to queries. The cute dogs Coco and Bobo we loved too.

The bungalow was really comfortable and clean, they cleaned the room everyday and supply toilet paper. Breakfast was great and Ketut was really friendly and helpful. You can rent to him a motorbike for 70k and. If I visit Nusa again I would definitely rent it again.

Very good overall

Suit quiet stay, need to be little bit fit, as walk to beach and restaurants between 600 to 1km. Ask for room away from road, can be very noisy if you want an early night.

Coffee was horrible, like in filtered perk! Maybe that’s how Indonesians like it, to me a mouth fill of crunched coffee beans.

Quiet bungalow in nature run with lots of love

Such a lovely place! Removed from the road, very quiet, shady and green, but still close to everything. The bungalows are in very good condition, clean, charming, and taken care of with lots of love and attention to detail. The staff is incredibly kind and warm. The breakfast is delicious and available from 6:30-10:30 and can be brought to your bungalow’s terrace if you so choose. We loved it so much that we extended our stay by another week.

The owner was very kind and helpful Very nice aesthetic Wifi was reliable, as was air con The room was comfortable and big.

The room backed on to a main road, and was extremely loud at night and in the morning. The location wasn’t great, there were hotels closer to the beach / Main Street.

Lovely stay at this beautiful spot, bit out of the busy street but still walkable.

The owner is really friendly so you feel welcome straight away. Breakfast is delicious with a fresh juice every morning! The bungalows are having everything they need and are very clean. Had an amazing stay here, price/quality balance is perfect! Every bungalow is viewing the central farm field which makes it a beautiful wake up.

MILDEW SHEETS! Gross!!!! My room door lock did not work! No hot water! Terrible wifi, and cell phone reception. Huge step to enter the room, and bathroom....not safe.

SHEETS/LINEN ARE GROSS! MILDEW ALL OVER THE SHEETS! Not a little, but a lot. You need to throw away those sheets! You might also try using vinegar/baking soda type mix to remove those stains. If you wash those sheets with sheets and towels, you will spread the mildew to all of your laundry! WIFI WAS TERRIBLE! NO HOT WATER! DOOR LOCK in my room was broken!

A insider’s experience to the local history, culture & lifestyle

Ketut was so friendly, informative & helpful. We were given a real local experience, including a tour of their private residence & information about their lifestyle & culture.. The included breakfast was great, with different fresh fruit juices every day & the option of Indonesian or Western food.

Our A/C in one bungalow didn’t work so well. The stairs up to the bungalow are steep.

Fine for a short stay but bring earplugs

Traditional Balinese wooden home - Comfortable bed, clean room and outdoor bathroom. Good AC and cute dog! Near lots of nice restaurants and 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk from harbour

We were put in a bungalow completely different to the one I had booked on here! They did offer to move us the next day but as we were only staying 2 nights it would’ve been very pointless to move all of our stuff just for 1 evening in the room we should have had all along. The bungalow was right next to the road and as there was no insulation, you could constantly here vehicles driving past even with earplugs in so it was impossible to rest well. The water pressure in the shower was poor and as the bathroom was outside you could also hear next door if they were using theirs. We also had to rent a bike elsewhere as the one we had rented off them felt very unsafe and were talked down to for doing this being told that was a ‘strange’ thing to do and that we were causing them to lose business despite still being happy to to pay for the original bike alongside a new one. We did get given a little bit of money back for this at the end of our stay however. No help to get to the harbour unlike other guests so just felt like we were not wanted. I was made to feel like I was asking too much when I queried not having the room I had booked and paid for online so all in all it was a pretty uncomfortable experience for us.

AVOID as much as possible

I can't think of anything that I liked.

This was by far the worst accommodation I ever encountered. And it's not just the room itself, but the owner's attitude. The room we got looked nothing like the pictures - it had no windows (it was basically similar to a prison cell) and next to the road, which meant we could clearly hear all the cars and scooters passing by (there isn't any sort of soundproofing). When we told the owner the room isn't what we booked he started to get anxious, telling us we should find another accommodation if we don't like it, because his location was full (it was almost 8PM when we arrived and we were extremely tired after an entire day of visiting the island). There was almost NO running water (just a few drops coming out of the facet every 2 mins) and the Wi-Fi was terrible, I honestly don't understand how this location got such good reviews (if you don't belive me, have a look at the attached pictures)

It is such a beautiful little complex with lots of bungalows around, the bed was comfy and the staff were really nice

The room has AC but throughout the day it’s not great as the wooden bungalow heats up and takes in all the heat so it gets very warm in there, fine if you’re going out in the day but i was poorly so had to spend a number of days in bed!! No one’s fault but something to bear in mind

cute little huts with much space, comfy bed and clean outdoor bathroom with warm water. the breakfast was ok (pancakes, fresh smoothie and tea or coffee) the staff was super friendly and the whole place green and quiet. we loved it and we’ll come back someday. thank you!!

Very good

Nice property and cute rooms, but it gets bit hot during daytime because of the steel roof and AC don't help you very much. Beds are comfortable. There is a wardrobe to keep your clothes & stuffs.

We lost the opportunity to have our breakfast because we left the property early in the morning and returned in afternoon. If someone leave the property early for sight seeing and return at the property. Owner should provide breakfast as we've paid for staying there.
