Don't look for accommodation anymore and book Samana Homestay

It was the most comfortable and cleanest place I stayed at in Indonesia- I liked it so much that I extended my stay from 3 nights to more than a week. The room was cleaned every day. There is a kettle and a fridge in the room. Towels and shower gel are provided. AC and wifi work well. You can also rent a bike for a good price. Location is very good - 10 mins walk to Mushroom Beach. The owner is the kindest person ever.

A refreshing stay with an incredible host!

Our five-night stay at this homestay was truly a five-star experience, largely thanks to the incredible host, Ketut. From the moment we arrived, Ketut was genuinely welcoming and friendly. The rooms were impeccably clean, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable right away. What truly set this stay apart was Ketut's attentive yet respectful hospitality. He always took the time to chat with us when we saw him, making us feel right at home, and was extremely helpful in providing excellent local recommendations whenever we asked. It's the small, thoughtful gestures that make the biggest impact, and Ketut mastered these. For example, knowing we were often out exploring late, we always returned to the porch light being on. We found the entire experience to be very helpful, comfortable, and memorable. Highly recommend staying here; it’s one of the best homestays we’ve ever found!

I stayed with Ketut and his family for three months and it was a wonderful experience. The location is beautiful, close to Mushroom Bay, and everything is new and well maintained. It’s perfectly peaceful since it’s not directly on the busy road. I will definitely come back again. Ketut, I wish you lots of success 👌 thank you for all the hospitality, I truly felt at home here. Next time I’ll bring you an Ajax shirt 😄

Great, clean and spacious rooms. The owner is so lovely and helps with bike rental, which is probably necessary for this location. Such a beautiful home, thank you for having us!

Wonderful stay at Samana Homestay!

The room was recently renovated, very comfortable, and perfect for one or two nights. It had a great hot shower, clean sheets, and strong air conditioning. There’s no TV, which makes it a peaceful and simple place to rest. The homestay is not located directly on the main street, but you can easily walk to the nearby shops and restaurants — everything is within a short distance. The host was extremely kind and helpful. Since I don’t ride a scooter, he generously offered to drive me wherever I needed, at any time. He even took me on a lovely little tour around Nusa Ceningan, just to be nice. The next day, he brought me to the harbor so I could catch my boat to Nusa Penida.

The only thing to keep in mind is the natural humidity of the island, which is hard to avoid — but everything else was excellent!

Toller Besitzer, sehr zufrieden mit dem Homestay

Super netter Besitzer, der alles möglich gemacht hat. Wir konnten einen Roller bei ihm ausleihen und er hat uns diesen sogar an den Hafen gebracht. Außerdem hat er uns Tipps für die Insel und Restaurants genannt. Die Unterkunft war gut gelegen und wir durften nach Absprache auch etwas später auschecken ohne Aufpreis.

Haken an der Wand für Handtücher würden die Unterkunft noch etwas aufwerten.

Bom e confortável quarto, perto de uma das principais praias da ilha.

O quarto é ótimo, novo e espaçoso, a cama muito confortável e o chuveiro sai água com muita pressão! Bem localizado perto do porto da mushroom bay, um pouco longe da outra "cidade" da ilha, mas acessível se você pegar um táxi ou uma scooter. AC funciona bem e é silencioso.

A água quente não dura muito, para uma pessoa está bom, para duas já é preciso esperar um pouco. Poderia ter uma cadeira dentro do quarto e uma chaleira de água quente elétrica para complementar. Mas são complementos, o lugar em si é ótimo ;)

Pour un séjour paradisiaque sur Lembongan

J’ai adoré mon séjour à Samana, les chambres sont très propres et très agréables. Le Homestay est dans une petite rue reculée très calme donc très reposante, mais la rue donne sur une autre plus grande rue avec tous les restaurants et magasins nécessaires. Katuk est très accueillant et m’a même invitée à une cérémonie balinaise, merci à lui ! Je reviendrai dès que possible !
