Very good value of money

Really nice papa and mama, feel like home. Place is very tidy and clean. Closet is new and large enough to put more things inside. Good price for renting motorbike.

Only have 2 mins of hot water so need to wash fast.

Cozy atmosphere and amazing owners!!

An absolutely amazing place. Each room is its own little hut with great furniture and super clean! The owners are two absolute gems. It is possible to do a private tour around the island with the owner, which was great for me as a solo traveler. The location is in a small little town, with good food, cafes and spas around. Another plus point is the cute dog they have. Overall an amazing place, I really enjoyed my time there!

Lovely stay with very welcoming hosts

It was so lovely staying here, very relaxing and quiet, while also being a close walk to lots of restaurants and some shops. Very close to Purple Dive Centre (15 min walk or 3 min scooter ride) who we spent two days diving with. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable (didn't creek like I'd read in other reviews). 'Mama' was also so friendly and accommodating, she helped us out with everything we asked for and let us extend our stay for an extra night as we enjoyed it so much and wanted a bit longer in Penida than initially planned... We rented a scooter from her for a reasonable price which made it much easier getting around some parts of the island. The breakfast offered (not free but cheap) was banana pancakes and tea/coffee both of which were good. Very good value for money! We'd definitely stay here again next time we're on nusa penida!

Not much we didn't like but I suppose some simple, convenient things in the room would have been helpful - there was nowhere to hang your towels/toiletries in the shower room, no bedside light/lamp, only two clothes hangers in the wardrobe... a fridge in the room in would have been nice also but not essential. Additionally, the shower was cold, pressure was good and it would be hot for like 2 mins and then cold for the rest of the shower time! Also the noise from the neighbour's roosters in the morning, easily ignorable with ear plugs in but maybe something to bear in mind if you don't/can't wear ear plugs.

Oasis

Lovely hosts Mama and Papa, very helpfull. Always asking if we want coffee! Calm, because far from the street. Nice dogs. Very nice, Papa brought me to the laundry, with scooter. Liked to sit on the Veranda, looking in the green surrounding and temple. Beer was in the common fridge, always filled up.

You must ask for towels and cleaning the room. No problem! The bed 'for me' not so good, because I felt every turning from my partner, could be harder.

Lovely stay in Nusa Penida!

Lovely homestay, the room was very big, clean and comfortable! Papa and Mama were adorable, Papa brought me to the harbour. The beach is 5 min walk where there's also a nice restaurant.

There was no possible to get a breakfast apart of a tea but the family lost someone in the same week so I could not complain.

Clean clean clean

After staying at disgusting hotels in Bali for a lot more money, I felt soooo relieved to find these CLEAN bungalows with great hosts for such a good price. If you are tired of dirty sheets and just want a clean cozy place with hot water that smells nice and clean - this is definitely a recommendation. Mamma and Papa are so nice, and, for me, a little broken English was not an issue, it just added to the charm of this place more. They also rent motorcycles for a good price, buuut, since they don't have an insurance, if you're awful at driving it (like us), they'll help you find a rent a car for a good price (we got the driver to drive and wait for us at the opposite side of an island for 650k, almost all day) The only maybe downside can be location, as it is on the opposite side of all the 'tourist attractions', but honestly it's not that big of an issue, especially considering what you get for the price. Also, there is amaaaazing caffe restaurant just next to it, with a pool and beach access, where you can chill in the pool for free (just paying drinks and food). It looks way more expensive than it is and it doesn't have a lot of customers during the day, buuut the sunset there is amazing - chilling by the pool with a drink during the sunset is a must-try.

The beds are kinda loud but honestly it's okay.

Very well situated accommodation with very friendly hosts

You get more for the price what you pay for this accommodation than you get at stays where you pay 4 times more. The hosts are tremendously friendly and helpful. Our room was super spacious and very clean. It also has air conditioning, a closet, a drying rack and a very good bed. We slept there very well and did not have any night noise. Also, the accommodation is very centrally located where you have the nicest restaurants and close to the ports for taking the boat or ferry back.

Exceptional

We had an absolute blast staying 3 Nights at Klotok. Mama and Papa are amazing people and hosts who will make your journey there 100% authentic and full of joy. The bed was really comfortable and the room clean. There is a really peacefull atmosphere surrounding this homestay. It's well located as there are lots of restaurants around. And if you need anything, just ask Mama, she'll be the best help you could ask for.

Cheap accommodation with good value for money

Mama and Papa were lovely and helpful, although our communication was limited (my Bahasa Indonesia/balinese and their English). Could rent a scooter for 60000 a day. With the scooter, you're getting around quite good. Room was clean. Overall good value for money.

Imo, Room wasn't very comfortable. A "warm" light for the evening / reading is missing (only white LED lights from the roof). If you don't close the curtains, there's not a lot of privacy (big windows).

This was such a lovely stay!! much better than we expected it to be with the price and the accommodation we are used to, travelling on a budget. Mama was so helpful with everything we needed. went above and beyond. location was so perfect for food places, everywhere we ate was less than 5 min drive. bikes were very easy to rent to explore the island also. 100% recommend.

Great stay at Nusa Penida

The owner is a wonderful lady that will make you great banana pancakes for breakfast, for a very reasonable price, and deliver them to your room in the morning. The room was spatious and clean, the bathroom was basic but clean as well (no hot water but not needed with Bali's weather). Internet was working perfectly.

Wonderful stay with very warm welcoming staff ! Calm, comfy, you can have breakfast there and rent a scooter from them. A few restaurants are around as well. They helpfully offered to drop us by scooter at boat harbour the early morning we left. Thank you so much : )

The poeple from the home stay were super kind. They are very helpfull and even helped us to get to the hospital because one of us needed medication. The rooms are big, the bed is nice and the AC works perfect! The home stay is also near all the good restaurants. Widi works perfect and we got free water and Bananas.

Tranquillité, confort et bel accueil, un joli havre de sérénité.

La chambre très spacieuse avec un mobilier pratique : armoire, séchoir, tables de chevet,console et chaise et bien sûr un grand lit. Air conditionné (sur le mur face au lit). Très propre. Salle de bains spacieuse avec eau très chaude. Terrasse bien ombragée. Accueil très chaleureux. Location de scooter ici : 6 jours 360kidr. Pour visiter cette île, indispensable sauf à commander un taxi (tarifs élevés, pas de Grab!). Mama fait aussi votre lessive. Papa m'a raccompagnée au port en scooter. A pied : plage à 200m avec barrière de corail , masque tuba parfait mais courant. Et s'il vous plaît,ne marchez pas sur les "rochers"! ce sont des coraux, vivants que vous abimez ! Restez allongé et ne touchez qu'avec les yeux. Supérette à 400m vers l'est sur la route. Vers l'ouest à 2kilometres, grand supermarché uncle Jo bien achalandé. Utilisation possible du réfrigérateur collectif du homestay. Un très bel hébergement tranquille et confortable. Je recommande.

Joli endroit , très bon rapport qualité-prix

Très bon rapport qualité-prix, près du centre de plongée où j'allais tous les matins. Mais aussi très grande chambre avec plein de rangements, lit grand et confortable, air conditionné, eau chaude et très grande salle de bain pour un tout petit prix de 13€ la nuit environ. Le petit déjeuner est en supplément mais ne vous coûtera que 30 000 roupiahs (café + banana pancake) La dame est très gentille et son mari aussi bien qu'un peu plus timide ;-)

Il n'y a pas internet mais ce n'est finalement pas un problème car le wifi est partout dans les bars et restaurants et vous pouvez également vous prendre une carte Sim et hop problème réglé

Toll, würde die Unterkunft dort nochmal buchen.

Mama (Gastgeberin) war hilfsbereit (schnelle Organisation von Taxi-Fahrern per Auto/ Scootern zu einem fairen Preis) und freundlich. Die Unterkunft ist mit ihrem Garten sehr idyllisch und friedlich.

Bei der Buchung stand Frühstück inklusive, es gab jedoch nur Tee/ Kaffee morgens. Gab jedoch in paar Fußminuten tolles Croissant-Geschäft (Secret Bakery). Habe Kakerlake zwischen Bett und Matratze krabbeln gesehen.
