Good location near the town and beaches. Unfortunately the weather wasn't very kind but we made the most of our short stay.The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. She kindly offered us another night free if we couldn't drive out because of flooding. At low tide the next day we could drive carefully through the flooded road and head home.Tairua is a friendly town with a variety of good eateries.

Great little old school bach all self contained. Very clean and comfortable had everything we needed. The place made us feel relaxed like home away from home. The main road location was perfect for us.

The bach is a small separate building behind the main house. It is small but tidy. Jan was very friendly and even left us some produce from the garden. Space is tight, but this was ok for just 2 of us.
