We liked the location, nice easy walk to town. Good quality bedding and towels, comfortable bed too. A really nice outlook over the river, and we found it nice and peaceful.
Not really the fault of the apartment, but the parking space was so tight, we struggled with a larger car to get in and out.

Good communication from the owner. The apartment is perfectly located a very short distance from York city centre. Nice sized apartment, perfect for our short stay. The free parking space was definitely helpful.
Just a few basics missing from the kitchen which we needed - eg larger sharp knives from chopping, a colander/ sieve, a plug for the sink to make washing the pots easy

The host was friendly, responsive and quick to help whenever we had an issue, which we really appreciated. The apartment was in a good location, with an easy 10–15 minute walk into the centre of York's historic town.
The apartment didn't quite match the photos, and getting in and out with a car was quite inconvenient, especially with the uncovered parking space on the top floor and no lift. We also had ongoing issues with the shower temperature, which was either freezing cold or scalding hot until a plumber was able to attend, and the bed felt more like a sofa bed than a standard bed.
