Lovely place, great location and the apartment was cosy, clean and had some character with the bare brick wall. It was nice being on the river/canal! Large spacious room, shower was really nice and big and there was everything you need in the kitchen.

The bed was one of those pull down beds so didn't feel very secure, but it was comfy to sleep on i just lost ny pillow down the back in the night. Also there were marks on 2 of the towels (looked like make up, foundation and mascara/eyeliner etc). This was only noticed after opening them to use. They smelled clean so maybe it didn't come out in the wash. I felt uncomfortable that there was essentially a deposit (a large amount reserved on your card) which wasn't explained prior to booking and it was almost the same cost as the room - so be aware when giving your card details a large amount will be reserved in case of damages. I struggled to get an explanation what this amount was for and it concerned me that I had to allow it to be reserved.

Beautiful apartment close to York city centre. Perfect for a family of 4.

The shower was great, and the bed was really comfy. Close to Bars and shops. Everything you need is there and the place is very clean.
