Spen Lane Apartments, York City Centre

The whole apartment was fantastic. Very spacious with provided the perfect base for exploring the city and Shambles. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and bathroom was spotless offering both separate shower and bath.

Absolutely nothing, maybe the fact I hadn't discovered it sooner as welove York.

This is a perfectly located property in the centre of York City. It is only a couple of minutes walk to the Shambles, 5 minutes from York Minster. You can access the castle walls only 1 minute away at the end of the road. Location is absolutely perfect for a city break. For the property it was extremely well maintained. Everything was in very good condition and it was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need even if you wanted to cook a full meal. It has a washer/dryer if you need to do any laundry during your stay, they also supplied laundry capsules in the cupboard under the sink. It also had a dishwasher, full size oven, hob and full size fridge freezer. The bed is extremely comfortable, the bathroom had a great shower and even came with toiletries. I could not fault one thing about this apartment at all and will stay again next time we are in York. There are 2 multi storey car parks within a 5 minute walk of the property. The Q park Shambles is great for longer stays as the Foss Bank Car Park caps your stay at 24hr and you cannot extend this on their app or in person. Both are very secure, easy to access and easy to get to from the property.

There wasn't anything that we did not like about the property. The only thing I could possibly point out is that as soon as you enter the front door you have to immediately go up a flight of stairs to the apartment doors and these stairs are a little steep if you have any mobility issues and need to carry your bags up, but they are not the worst stairs we have had in a property at all.

Perfect apartment in a fantastic location . Well equipped , very clean and very comfortable.

Nothing not to like !

Location was super central and convenient for all of York's sights.

Nothing could have been improved. Really well equipped, incredibly clean and a high spec of furnishings.
