The property was well equipped and was perfect location in the beautiful city of York

Clean and tidy and easy to find sally was very helpful

The location was great - right in the heart of the city near some cool pubs, restaurants and cafes. The property was well appointed and very clean. The owner communicated well and was friendly and helpful via WhatsApp and Booking.com messaging. Parking was in a safe and secure public car park about 100 yards away, though we could drop off luggage much closer. The parking was free via a digital permit, but that didn't work for us for some reason. The owner refunded our parking cost without any quibble. We enjoyed our stay at Bootes Cottage and intend to return in future. Recommended.

The bed was comfortable, though it seemed to contain memory foam. On hot days, as on our stay, I find it a bit too warm. My wife found it a little soft for her liking too. However, neither issue made us uncomfortable.

Nice and clean and close to the centre of York.

Despite several interactions with the team about the refund of parking fees, they have not done so. The stay was in summer and the bedroom was very hot and the supplied fan really did nothing to cool the air.
