Great facilities, incredibly clean and in a great location in the city

Slightly too close to an art gallery that cost me a small fortune 😂

Its central position and the included parking were wonderful but what made this property so special was the obvious care that had gone into it. It had everything you could ever need: it was so very thoughtfully organised. We didn’t meet Sally but she was very responsive to any questions we had.

Bed too small for two - would have liked microwave

Great location, central to the Shambles and attractions, a good base for a trip away. Clean for the most part and nice size.

Communication from the host was appalling. Had messaged initially to query the parking permit, to be told we would receive a message on the day to confirm whether we had a permit or would be reimbursed. I have still not received any communication from the host regarding this so we chose to park elsewhere (costing £45) as without a permit the car park would have cost £100. I also messaged regarding bag storage and have still had no reply. There were also various parts of the accommodation that needed checking. The microwave-combi oven was sparking when we tried to use it, so obviously hasn’t been cleaned. The bed appeared to be a 3/4 rather than a double, was very small for a couple to sleep in. The “free toiletries” provided also left a lot to be improved, with two half used bottles left on the floor of the shower covered in stains (difficult to tell whether they were left by guests or just a complete lack of care) with no shower gel either. The bathroom light also did not work for the entirety of our stay. Generally a decent stay, but for the price would have expected these small details to have been checked and improved.
