The Shambles - The Timbered Nest

It was a great location! It was a cute little apartment that was clean.

The bed was quite small for two people and not very comfortable. It was unclear how to set up the pull out couch and where to find the sheets, extra towels, etc. (The apartment was not set up for 4 people.)

Excellent location, right on the main shambles , everything on your door stop from museums, shops, restaurants

A little warm as top floor, and a lot of stairs to climb each day but that's the only minor negative we had

The apartment was roasting when we arrived. The internal doors are all self closing and quite heavy and there was only one door stop so we had to try to prop open the sitting room door to cool the place down. There are too areas where the laminate flooring is in urgent need of repair and could potentially cut your feet if you walked in bare feet. We were only given one set of keys and the door buzz didn't work so we had to go down 3 flights of stairs to let each other in. We booked for 4 people but only one bed was made up. We had to put the duvet cover and pillow cases on for the other bed ourselves. There were no coat hooks to hang our jackets. There was a welcome pack with stuff for tea but no shower gel or shampoo is provided.
