Great location for central York
Stairs were steep and could do with some attention here and there but overall good value for money and staff were great.

The location was excellent. Right in the heart of the city, just 5 minutes from bars and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and rooms spacious. The living room and kitchen were nicely decorated and comfortable for sitting in. We didn't use the kitchen for cooking but it looked like it had most things.
We mostly loved the property but there are a few areas of wear and tear that need some attention and would make all the difference e.g. handles not on cupboard doors etc.

It’s a nice property for a very old building. Its proximity to everything downtown is quite nice.
The owner didn’t send an email with full check in instructions until I was there with luggage in hand on the day of. I booked 9 months in advance. The apt temperature and crowd noise from the street below are not pleasant things. Getting my refund back for the parking garage was a hassle and took way too long and several emails. With service like this I would not use again or recommend.
