It was looking a bit tired in places, the bathroom whilst clean was very small, shower needs an upgrade as well as the sink and you couldn’t lock the door which when sharing with others is a must.

Convenient location right in the city, near to shops and restaurants and museums. Despite this, when you are inside you don’t hear the city noise!

Nothing, we were happy staying there.

Location is perfect Comfortable beds and lounge. Clean modern kitchen. Ideal for 2 couples with 2 double bedrooms. It is quite rare for that as usually one room is twin bedded and 1 couple must compromise. Parking is great. Great value for money and definitely will return. Convenience store on the doorstep for milk etc. Quiet nights sleep even though apartment is in the centre.

Some areas internally to the property require some tlc. Property must be very popular & busy in peak season but time must be taken by the management company to keep up with the maintenance. Scuffs and dents on most walls in the lounge and bedrooms. Doors to the bathroom and adjacent bedroom do not close and stick in their frames, so privacy is reduced and doors are noisy if using the bathroom during the night. Tv in the smaller bedroom is almost coming off the wall on its bracket.

There was an issue with the property (bed damaged by previous guest) which the managing company dealt with really well. Although no new bed could be found at such short notice, they arranged for one of my party to be hosted in another nearby accommodation. They arranged it all, and we were really grateful for them finding a solution.

We did not think the property was good value for money. It is brilliantly located, but for the price we expected a higher spec. Even without the damaged bed, the mattresses were cheap and you could feel the springs, the duvets lumpy, and the property had water damage in the bathroom and small things like damaged cafetiere and other small things which we would expect would be better for the price. In general, communication was not great. No full address or arrival instructions sent in advance - leaving us ringing the managing company whilst waiting outside the door of the apartment. No reply to comments about broken cafetiere. However, as mentioned, they did resolve the damaged bed issue (though they did this not having received my comments through booking.com or via text, but only when followed up with a phone call.)
