We found all the key fobs, endless codes for points of entry a bit frustrating. Instructions for black bin disposal not clear. Keys & key fobs we were given were redundant (bar one) so a bit confusing. Stair well to parking area only opened on exit & not for entry. Visitor parking area was not clear on arrival so we mistakenly parked in AMPR area & then had to pay as we were unsure & didn’t want to get a fine.

Great location. Easy walk into city centre. Comfortable and well provisioned. Washer/dryer was a bonus. Comfortable bed & sofa bed.

Parking spaces very skinny. In the heatwave conditions, fan wasn’t adequate.

Thé apartment was clean and modern.

Didn’t like all the faff of getting into the building with the 3 different codes for the various doors and then having to park the car in the designated bay, using another code to access a key safe for the car park fob. parking bay was on the roof top and had to walk up and down the many stairs. Didn’t like the 4pm checkin. Seemed like our first day was wasted. Even though we did get a message earlier to say the accommodation was ready it was hard to know what to do. Go early park elsewhere or go for checkin time. Didn’t like the location. Stayed in York many times before and we are definitely going back to a B&B in a better area. It was just full of red built apartments and didn’t have the same appeal as other areas we have stayed in. The actual apartment was a long way away from the entrance to the building. Overall the apartment was clean and modern. There was a noisy spring in the bed. A couple of bulbs needed replacing which I left a note about. Unfortunately we won’t be going back to Cocoa Loft apartments.
