Lovely old traditional pub
9 / 10Outstanding·Oct 2026
Lovely pub in a beautiful location. The room with a real traditional feel to it. The bar and beer garden were exceptional with a good choice of beers and ciders. The breakfast (cooked breakfast) was absolutely delicious and appeared locally sourced.
They are more comments than complaints. We were in Room 2 and I have to say it was a first - I was not expecting the bath and toilet to literally be in full view of the bed with no privacy. Additionally, the bed was clearly not level amd we very much felt like we were rolling out the bed. We took both in good humour but I can see other people may differ
