The location was close to relatives. Quiet area and the room was a good size and comfortable.
Nice shower room with included lotions etc.
Although we were permitted to drop our bags just before 2pm the room wasn’t ready and the bed was unmade.
When we returned later in the evening it had been made up ok however we noticed that there was a few bits of grit on the carpet and what looked like a bit of plastic and some leaves under the bed so didn’t appear to have been vacuumed.

The pub itself was great with a fantastic atmosphere and the staff were friendly and attentive.
The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in for an overnight stay. The mattress was so thin it was barely more than a topper. I did not really sleep as a result of this.
The shower in the morning was little more than a trickle and so took ages to wash out the soap etc.

Friendly pub staff. Enormous comfortable bed (room 1). Large well decorated room. Good coffee tea making facilities. Good sofa bed. Kind staff made up bed quickly on request.
Cold bathroom (no heating or towel rail). Constant buzzing all night of some fan or compressor on floor below.

We received a very warm welcome and shown to our family room, which was a great size (2 rooms joined so as 1, with an en-suite to share). Crisp white linen and fluffy white towels, tv and complimentary tea/coffee/Blenheim Palace bottled water and bottle of Hook Ale were such an added treat.
Thank you The Pear Tree for making our stay such a memorable one. We will return next year.

When we arrived I was taken straight to the room nothing was explained and we weren't told how to get in or out of the property after hours as there wasn't any staff on site. When the bar finally went quite just after midnight, the remaining staff left and didn't turn off the music which played all night just below us in the pub. Needless to say we hardly got any sleep and left as soon as we could.

What a lovely group of people. We turned up very late after a day affair elsewhere. Wonderful manager and staff. Such good company and so welcoming even 30 minutes before closing

Our room was clean and comfortable and lots of charm with the beamed ceiling. Dog friendly with a lovely grassed beer garden

Genuine old world charm. Good facilities is a great Cotswold location. We did not have time but the Hook Norton Brewery looks like it would be well worth a visit.
No problem for us but would not be good for a people with mobility issues. Narrow staircase up to room. Part of the charm.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was excellent.
We chose the hotel for its location and on the basis of claimed A/C and parking.
The room under the roof had no air-condotioning only a fan. With 30°C that‘s annoying.
The hotel has NO parking. So you need to find a spot in the city yourself - which is costly.
The bathroom ventilation didn‘t work and the ceiling and show had mold.
We had 2 rooms, one had no towels.

There was no breakfast, I liked the character of the building and the location was perfect.
It was very loud there 12am-2am which wasn’t good as it kept me and my partner awake, loud music and lots of people shouting and banging. The second night I had barely any sleep,

We have arrived an hour after the end of the check-in hours, which we have called them about in advance. They were kind enough to wait for us to get there. Even called us, if we are OK. I asked for a pint of beer on arrival, the pub was already closed, but I got one to take to the room. Very friendly staff, and a place with friendly ambiance.
We have tried to contact the facility over e-mail and booking.com messaging in advance about our late check-in, but nobody responded.

I chose the accomodation as it was the closest option for the Hook Norton Brewery tour.
Bedroom and bathroom were great.
No breakfast provided, I feel that in hindsight, the price should have been cheaper.
I neglected to checkout the pubs website to check on the opening hours, we stayed on a weeknight when I assumed it would be fairly quiet. However the opening hours were until midnight, the sound carried up to the room and some of the clientele were quite noisy, loud voices and laughter. We had a long drive the following day and this went on until well after midnight. To cap it all music in the bar was left on overnight and we didn't get much sleep

A superb quintessentially English country inn; quaint, comfortable and friendly. Everything traditional style but clean and modern in delivery. Our room was perfect; clean, spacious, nicely furnished and with a magnificently comfortable bed. It was also very reasonably priced.

The bed was incredibly comfortable. Yhe staff were very polite and kind. The towels were very soft and warm
The water pressure in the shower was very weak and the water was either way too hot or way too cold.

Couldn't have been happier with the Pear Tree Inn. Located above a friendly pub in the picturesque, off-the-beaten-path Cotswolds village of Hook Norton, the clean room was comfortable and spacious, just a short walk from the village center. The pub was charming and soaked with atmosphere, and the staff and locals were warm and welcoming. There's also an outdoor area with picnic tables and ample space for kids to run around. Parking was available onsite, and there is nearby dining at the Hook Norton Brewery and the Sun Inn. The village has a store and a playground, an historic church, and lots of paths and lanes to explore.

A lovely room, comfortable bed and friendly staff
We arrived back after a wedding at 23.50, the bar was quite full with drinking after hours. As our room was above the bar, it was very noisy for another hour. Also, the green light in the bedroom made the room very light and difficult to sleep

Shame unable to get food but had takeaway instead.
Room was lovely, very large. Our cat enjoyed her stay.
We bought her travel crate with us for her to stay in.
No staff around when we checked out. We feel there should have been someone around to check if all ok.
Would recommend to anyone with a pet to stay here.

No breakfast but Hook Norton Brewery offer a discount for breakfasts in their restaurant if touring the brewery. No evening meals, but these are available at the other pub in the village a short walk away. They are honest in so far as he walls are thin so noise from the bar does filter up to the room.

Everything. Room size. Comfy beds. Tea, coffee ect. 2x televisions.
The shower was very temperamental. Slight tap for hot or cold but went freezing to scolding. The lady said she'd get the shower looked at when I told her about it when we left. Lovely staff.
