The view was really nice, and the staff were really helpful, the host also helped us with our issues. We arrived before check in time and they letted us store our baggage inside.

There is a lot of wind which made the windows shake A LOT! The zone is quite scary at night but inside the building is safe. Also there’s no air conditioning in the house but there is fans.

The property was exactly the same like posted on booking.com.

It was dirty we found broken things in the apartment while checking in sink was dirty even in bedrooms floor was dirty 🤮 the kettle was left with boiled eggs we couldn’t even use the kitchen because of dirt! Ironing board was broken 😞

Overall our stay was very uncomfortable and we won't be staying here again or recommending it.

The entire apartment was not clean and evidence of dirt everywhere.The whole building on the inside reeked of weed. The guest bathroom showers drain was blocked on the very night we arrived. This resulted in the shower overflowing into the kitchen and tv room area. The windows in this apartment was loose resulting in a ear shattering sound every time the wind blew, and blew it did for the entire 4 nights we were there. There is only 1 key so that made it very difficult because we needed to be at different places. The curtains in the main room was broken. The sofa in the tv room area were completely shot and look very tattered and worn. the batteries in the tv remote were not working and had to be fiddled with every time I needed to change the channel. The guest bathroom toilet looked it had some dried poop on the outside bottom of the toilet. Overall our stay was very uncomfortable and we won't be staying here again or recommending it.

It was safe.

Arrived past 15:00 and the unit was not cleaned at all, beds were not made, there were dirty dishes, garbage was still in the building, carpets and mats were dirty and very dusty. We had to leave our belongings in the balcony to give cleaners time to clean the unit, which was cleaned in less than 30 minutes, as we were already there. As a group of 5 we had to share a shower, because the other one was blocked, the water would be everywhere in the bathroom. I informed the relevant person, and was told that someone will be sent and we waited until we left. During the booking, I asked for utensils to be enough for 5 people, but 2 of us had to have breakfast on side plates, we only got more plates later in the day. Checking out time is 10:00 and there was 5 hours of allowance for the property to be cleaned, it was so disappointing we felt like we were not being valued. Imagine getting into an apartment excited, only to get there and it’s dirty. The property owner was informed way earlier that our arrival will be at 07:00 in the morning, we just wanted to rest after waiting all those hours for check-in, but we were now forced to do something else while awaiting the apartment to be cleaned. We could not even sleep during the windy conditions, the windows did not sound intact at all, there was too much noise coming from them, even the painting in one of the room was moving, even though the windows were properly closed.

The view of table mountain and the decoration of the rooms and the whole set up of the rooms were very good.

The blankets had blood stains and the rooms were smelling the electric kettle was not working no dishwashing liquid in the kitchen the WiFi does not connect into the bedrooms .the throws on the dinning couches were smelling and on booking.com it shows that we paid for cleaners but no one cleaned the rooms

Wex1 Urban chick dissapointment

Apartment was beautifully done with an amazing view

Firstly cleaning fee was deducted without been specified , spoke to an agent a day before we checked in an no feedback until now , fridge freezer drawers was broken , main bedroom doors were stuck together , property wasn't cleaned nicely yet we was charged a cleaning fee , the manager of the cleaning department was made aware . No luggage trolleys neither any staff to help us carry luggage . All mentioned here has been told to the property manager and he had advised that the maintainace an cleaning team will be out but no one pitched up

The was no water the whole stay, I couldn't bath to go to work,had to buy drinking water and water to cook, security lied about my cousin paying another security in order to give him my key as I had forgotten to tell my cousin to leave my key in the safety box so he handed it over for security to give me when he was out,I received a call from the agent already concluded that security will be fired without even asking or investigation. I have never seen such unfair treatment in South Africa,

Security supervisor a lady giving false information about another security and saying he had been paid by my cousin while I came from work and was the one who handed over the keys to my cousin

Modern, clean, fully kitted apartment, with amazing views. The check in was effortless, the staff at entrances was friendly, availability of the shop and restaurant downstairs and easy access to and from cbd. The views!!

Wex Apartment Realistic Review (not the "home away from home" superficial stuff)

Apartment centrally located with easy access to main routes. Great view of mountains, partial view of city and harbour. Both bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms. Fairly spacious apartment. No interference from other residents. Spar supermarket on the ground floor.

No cleaning service included (you have to hire separately and pay through your nose). No aircons in bedrooms. Uncomfortable sleeper couch. Apartment needs a washing machine and tumble dryer, the communal laundry is inconvenient and impractical. Only 1 access security tag provided, hampering freedom of movement. No proactive communication from host. Felt unsafe to take a walk on the street in vicinity of the building.
