Overpriced

It was beautiful and a nice place to be.

It is wildly overpriced and the add ons are horrendous. The food is also poor and probably the worst place I’ve ever eating but it’s cheap in the restaurant thankfully or I’d have refused to pay for it. Also there was empty alcohol bottles and boxes everywhere including on the fields that didn’t belong to them but clearly came from there guests— nothing unreachable though.

The staff were incredibly nice and was there to lend a helping hand if it was needed and the food was to die for.

Me and my partner booked one of the pods but unfortunately there was no WiFi or tv etc. And dinner and breakfast were not included with our stay.

It's only a small thing but...

Nice room

The in-room kettle and cups only had decaff coffee in the sachets. I went to reception and asked for a full caffine one. The receptionist could not find any so she said just to come to the bar when I wanted coffee. I told her I get up at 5am. She said that was ok. When I did that the guy on duty clearly had no idea this was agreed but he did make coffee.

We booked a pod accommodation. It was a fantastic little space with all necessary features and an amazing view. A full breakfast was included. The restaurant is very nicely designed and elegant. The staff was welcoming, helpful and kind. Overall a very good experience. I will definitely come back to this accommodation.

A little missing detail in the pod: there were no hooks or railings for towels in the bathroom nor in the room. I would prefer to have porcelain or glass cups for hot beverages instead of paper disposable cups in the room. It would be nice to have bottles of water in the room.

Peaceful, rural location, with freidnly staff, 15 minutes from Belfast City Centre.

A great location, very rural and peaceful, with great walks on hand. This stay was on a Monday night in July,and the restaurant was closed - however the guy on duty was able to offer pizzas - and they were good. Worth checking on restaurant opening times in advance - to be fair, the restaurant opening times are on the website - we'd just assumed dinner would be available 7 days a week. But can't stress enough that the staff were great, and we'd stay again very happily.

Good value location in a quiet spot, only 15 minutes drive from Belfast City Centre

Breakfast was good, and the location is excellent. Very rural and quiet, yet only just over 15 mintues from the centre of Belfast.

Worth checking about meal times in advance. We arrived at about 5.45 to discover the kitchen was closing at 6. The staff were excellent, and the food very good - but worth checking.

horrific

dirt came out of the drain while showering. shower plug/drain was covered in hair. description said a hairdryer would be provided but management said there weren’t any and had to eat dinner in the restaurant with wet hair. piña colada cocktail tasted off/rotten, when i complained i was told by a manager that ‘the cocktails come pre made so there’s nothing wrong with it’. will definitely not be back and would advise anyone else to avoid.

The staff were extremely friendly and the food was good. The bed was comfy and the pod was clean.

There was no access to the hot Tub. Upon asking we were told it had to be booked separately from accommodation and 24 hours in advance - we thought it came with the pod. Nowhere on our booking site did it indicate that it came separately. No hot water in the pod in the morning at the wash hand basin. No TV - again, not stated on the booking site. Upon asking, we were told that you had to bring your own! Never have I stayed in a pod and had to bring my own TV! Guest Wifi wouldn't work & despite asking about this at reception - the issue wasn't resolved or no help given. We arrived for check-in at 6.40pm and told last orders in restaurant were at 7.15pm. This might be acceptable in winter, but not in the month of July. Equallly, bar was closing, so had to order a few drinks, just to keep us going.

Beautiful place and good for money. Could be cleaner, little details make the difference.

I loved the views and the wee pods

Bathroom not clean , old contacts found on floor. No shower mat provided. No water in fridge provided, no hair dryer. Two pillows between two people. Paper cups for tea and coffee. Had order takeaway due to kitchen being shut at 7.30. Other people staying in the pods said could have got pizza from the hotel to take out but staff did not inform us of this before we ordered from just eat.

Cold/ unhelpful.

Nice location with scenic views

No heating all night/ morning. Went to reception twice to be told that it was being switched on, have to wait a while etc. 4 hours later still nothing staff did not want to help. So cold extra clothing and hot water bottle had to be taken from the car. Insect in the bathroom sink not a huge deal but not great either

The pod was unclean hairs all over the bathroom there was bird poo all over the bench meaning we have no were to sit outside. Poor customer service from staff in the restaurant and I will be expecting a full refund

THE VIEWS ARE AMAZING, and the staff too. You could see the mountains from your bed in the chalet. It was so peaceful.

I felt a little guilty about waking staff up to get into hotel after night shifts. A key to get in the main entrance independently would maybe be a good idea.
