Springfield B&B

It is a b&B place but there wasnt any breakfast included - therefore it's not a B&B I hadnt appreciated that and that was a surprise !

I should/could have been reminded @check in there was no breakfast included in the price and if there wasn't - recommend a cafe eg the one around the corner 'The Gatch' was excellenbt fior breakfast

Location was good, free parking. 7min drive into the centre or the bus stop is right outside the property. Easy check in and the host was very friendly and informative.

Empty soap dispenser in the bathroom and could of done with a hand towel. Lights did not work in the bathroom and shower switch was faulty (had to switch off by the mains) also no door on the bathroom so might be a problem if you had a visitor.

I will never ever book such hotel

The staff member was unprofessional and horrible, even forced me to booked a double room of which I paid extra 41 bound in his paybal account. He has threatened me, That he will call the police. I even don’t want to hear any thing from such hotel

Everything was as I expected. The room was small, but I was informed of that before booking, so it was no surprise. Keven and his wife were absolutely great people, most helpful in every way. I will certainly stay there again if I go back to Belfast,

The host, Kevin is very friendly, giving a lot of tips how to get around the city, what to visit etc. even without asking. The place was mostly clean and the tea and intant coffee provided in the room were a pleasant surprise for this price category.

Well, the biggest downside is certainly the bathroom... The toilet seat was broken. I wonder how much a new toilet seat would cost them? Also the shower was quite worn down. Why is the place named B&B if there is nothing like a breakfast here? To be fair, it was clear from booking.com, so everybody should know before booking the accomodation.

The owner was really helpful, he gave us really useful information on how to get about. The place is simple but clean and comfortable and good value.

Absolutely lovely! Kevin was fantastic, he made me feel at home in less than 2 minutes, gave me useful info about the city and how to get around, explained everything in details! Excellent position, exceptionally near the station. The room was cozy and nice, I had free coffee and tea every morning plus a bottle of water! It was tidy and clean. Honestly felt like home, had the best sleep of my entire vacation!

The room was as advertised. Tidy, clean, with its own bathroom. The room was on the small side, but that didn't really matter, it had everything else I needed. The location is great, the city centre is in walking distance (or a very short bus ride). Kevin, the host, is very friendly and is available to answer any questions.

As with all similar places in Belfast, the walls are on the thin side, so you can hear the others moving in the hallway (or sometimes in their room), but it is what it is. Not a negative per se, just how things are.

Cosy, clean with a TV and tea and coffee. The owner had a map and information board in the hall and took me through some key information as well as advice, which was handy.

Quite small. That didn’t bother me but it might bother others.

Kevin was very helpful guy. Sorted free safe parking for me.

Bit old and shabby but great value

Firstly, advertised as BnB ‘bed and breakfast’ however, no breakfast was provided. Appears it USED to be a bed and breakfast but no longer. False advertising. Pretty small room for three people wasn’t ‘comfortable’. Cleanliness was ok, but carpets need a deep clean. Water leaks in shower. Will need a plumber soon. Expensive for what it is.

Before my friend and I even got the the BnB we called the host when we were about 5 mins away (as he had requested) and we were met with “hello how can I help you?” We told him we were on our way and the name of the booking and he just hung up the phone. When we got to the address we parked on the foot path that had dotted lines and cars parked up as it was clearly to park cars outside the houses. We rang the ring doorbell and the host told us he’d be out in a min. When he opened the door he berated us, not even a hello just straight to berating us about parking outside the address (prior to arriving I had messaged to ask where we could park and he told us outside of the house like we had done). He asked why would we park there? Told us it was illegal to park there (it wasn’t as I have now checked). We stood in silence at this grown man clearly in his 60s standing shouting at 2 young women. We apologised and said we thought we could park there because there were other cars parked outside the houses. He then very rudely and arrogantly said “now if jimmy stuck his hand in the fire would you?!?” We stood in shock at this and said sorry we will move the car we didn’t know we couldn’t park there. He then went on further to say how we were parked on a footpath, in peoples way and his next door neighbours daughter was disabled (clearly we had no prior knowledge of this). He then asked if I’d park like that outside my own house which I replied “yes, my driveway is just like this and I do that”. He then berated and told me off over that response. Yet again we stood in silence and awkwardly said we would move the car and just stared at him not knowing what to do and very clearly scared and uneasy. We went and moved the car onto the road which had yellow lines but also a parking section and other cars parked there as he told us to do that.

+ clean. :) + easy to find. :) + bigger bed. :) + own bathroom. :) + good wi-fi. :) + closed supermarkt and terminal with trains/buses. :)

- unfortunately VERY VERY noisy Mr. owner. :/ I understand, that he is an older man - but his TV was so loud, that I heard that in my room too. :/ Also in very late hours! :/ I think, that he should think, that his guests do not want listen it too... - noisy also from other guests - so I slept with ear-plugs. :/ - if you want to use toilet, it is not enough space for sitting. :/ - room is really VERY small - maybe the smallest, which I have ever had. :/

The owner was extremely helpful and made sure to show me the map of Belfast and explain all of the transportation routes. He made sure I knew how to open the door and had me park the car in front of the building where he could keep an eye on it. The room was cozy, but clean. The pillow was great. There was a bottle of water for me and the shower had good pressure and stayed consistently warm.

The bathroom could use a little work, the toilet lid was broken and it could’ve been a bit cleaner.

The owner was friendly and helpful. Gave lots of tips about the area and very welcoming. Tea and coffee facilities and fresh bottles of water were great, especially for day trips. Beds comfy, sheets clean.

Little areas of cleanliness weren't great. Light switches, windowsills etc. BUT the bathroom was spotless. The photos show a Dining and living room which suggests access but they're closed off.

Kevin is easy to deal with, he is a natural, you feel as if you know him for sometime, made everything easy peasy, no hassle & no bother. Single Room is tiny but okay, sockets & switches are in the right place, enough tea & Coffee for ur arrival on the first night, water bottle is a great gesture and helps you if you arrive late or thirsty ! Had a nice shower as there is hot water on the top floor unlike what some guests have mentioned in their nasty feed backs! Location is marvellous, a brisk 10 minutes walk to Belfast Rail station. Good chippy across the road 😋

I left before 10 am as I have a train to catch, but ideally formal check out should be at 11 am Unhygienic people bringing their own bed bugs that bite, I got bitten badly twice ! Woke up once !

I liked how close it was to the train station and the easy access to public transport, as well as it feeling clean and cosy. The owner was lovely and helpful and it also felt very safe!

I think the only thing I didn’t like about the property was the lack of a lift as I had a heavy bag to bring up the stairs, but honestly it wasn’t a huge issue and I would still stay again!

This was a very convenient location for walking into the CBD and getting taxi to the airport. The nearby Chinese takeaway had great food. The host was most helpful in giving us information. The room was clean and all we needed for an overnight stopover.

The neighbours were noisy!

Some parking restrictions later in the morning but I left early in the morning so I didn't experience any problems

Good location, if you don't mind a walk, buy very bus friendly if not. Bed very comfy. Shower worked perfectly.

The room was 80% bed. Was a little tricky to navigate.
