It was very comfortable and close to where we needed to be. Loved the bottle of wine that our hosts had left for us. A really lovely gesture. We actually met the owner when we arrived, as she was just finished getting the property ready & had a lovely chat with her.
Bathroom only downstairs, could really do with even a toilet upstairs. Not ideal to have to go downstairs in the middle of the night. Very poor mobile phone signal, actually was waiting on a call and not able to receive it. Also there were very limited Channels available on TV,

A beautifully presented and very comfortable house. Everything is lovely quality and the bed and the sofa bed were comfortable. The cottage is centrally located but the street itself was peaceful (don’t worry, the church bells don’t chime all night!)

1. We asked for a guarantee of a car parking spot for our hire car, before booking. The promised car parking spot was general street parking, in an incredibly narrow street with cars parked so tightly around our vehicle as to make entering/leaving stressful and hazardous every time. Arthur Street is a cul-de-sac. Exiting the the street required a 10-point turn rather than a 3-point turn. Very harardous and unsuitable for a hire car.
In the evening it was a lottery as to whether we would be able to park anywhere in Arthur Street never mind outside Number 16. There was a painter's van which arrived early most mornings and parked outside No 16. IMO this is not a proper dedicated parking spot. Future travellers should be advised. Not suitable for travellers with a car/hire car.
2. The only bathroom/toilet was downstairs. Night trips to the bathroom were to descend a narrow staircase. IMO not suitable for older travellers (like us) and most certainly unsuitable for children.
