Met our family needs perfectly and you can see a lot of care goes into the property.

Lovely property with all we needed for our family stay, warm (with controllable thermostat), comfy beds and good showers!

The lighting in the kitchen felt a little dim while preparing food and washing up. Rest of property light and bright.

Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Avoca Lodge is the perfect hideaway.

The countryside setting was just idyllic with small stores in nearby villages to meet every need. The house is so spacious with very comfortable beds and soft linens. Bonus Xmas decorations made for a homey touch.

Our stay was even better than expected! The house was spotless.

The location was perfect — really easy to get to our event and also convenient for restaurants and cafés in Hillsborough. - We were in a large van and it was easy to park at the property .

Honestly, nothing really — the property was great and had everything we needed. It was just quite warm inside - I imagine most people would actually find the cosy warmth a plus!

Spacious and worth the money :)

It was on a quiet road, only a 5-10 minutes from lisburn centre. The house was spacious, clean and warm.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property is spacious and accommodated an adult family of five and a small baby very well. Its location on the outskirts of Hillsborough is ideal for visiting the village, and also is only a short distance from Lisburn and access to Belfast by car. This is the second time we have stayed at this property. There is plenty of crockery and pots and pans for self catering. The host is very welcoming and accommodating.

Our only comment for the future would be that we found that some of the pillows in the bedrooms were not very comfortable. A cafetière and a wok would be nice additions to the kitchen equipment.

Overall a pleasant stay but not very picturesque.

The facilities were very good, with everything you could need. All the bedding and curtains were really good quality.

The house was located on a farm with farm buildings and machinery extremely close to the accomodation.

Cosy place - with lots of room

Great size and and kitchen area - parking at the front door -less than 5 min drive to Hillsborough

Very relaxing in a beautiful property.

The property was really well equipped with everything wee could possibly need . It was really comfortable and clean . The area was quiet and beautiful and just a 5 minute drive from the centre of Hillsborough and just 20 mins to Belfast .

Apart from pets not being allowed in the property I couldn’t fault it .

accommodation good, location is inaccurately described

Plenty of room inside, everything you need for your stay in the accommodation.

The accommodations location is not where we expected it to be and when we arrived at the address and could not find the accommodation. I called the host. To which the host replied, there are two addresses the same and we were at the wrong one. This is not clear and should be advised of this before arrival. We ended up in the middle of the countryside with no facilities in a walkable distance. Although the host lived next door, they made no effort to introduce themselves or check were ok when we arrived after the mix-up of addresses. We were offered no apology.

We actually ended up staying in Tullynore Villa, which was brand new and huge. It had all the things you would like to have on a stay

Fantastic Stay - Will definitely return !

Absolutely Fantastic Stay ! House was spotless, so cosy yet plenty of room for our toddler to run about during our stay. Great Value for money in this house ! Most definitely will return if in Northern Ireland again. Land lady was there to show us around when we arrived and told us she was next door if needed. Ideal base for us to explore Belfast for a couple of days. could not recommend highly enough.

Absolutely perfect for our stay, simply nothing we did not have & was as good as staying in our own home, beautiful decor, spacious for the 4 of us & could have easily accommodated even 2 more. Hosts are on site & extremely helpful in every way, just cant fault it.

Great out-of-town quiet location

Plenty of space for everyone with a big kitchen and good sized bedrooms with storage space. Great to be located out of town a bit for the peace of the countryside. Close to Hillsborough which is a lovely village and good access to major road networks to travel throughout the province.

Booking.com location on website is not correct, the host has advised Booking.com but this has not been updated. Location was good for us, but if you are expecting to be in Lisburn you will be disappointed as this is located outside Hillsborough.

Estancia que superó nuestras expectativas, toda la casa para nosotros, una cocina enorme, dotada de todo tipo de electrodomésticos y menaje, todas las instalaciones muy cuidadas y limpias. Se aparca en la misma puerta de la casa, y en coche se llega en poco tiempo a Lisburn, donde hay supermercados (Tesco y Lidl). Los propietarios ya habían dejado la calefacción puesta, por lo que cuando llegamos estaba la casa caldeada, ellos viven cerca, y contestan muy rápido si tienes cualquier duda o necesidad con respecto a la casa. Las fotos son exactamente lo que te encuentras, sin lugar a dudas totalmente recomendable 100%
