Great central location near park and town centre. Only one staff on site as hotel was near empty who had to cover bar and front desk. staff member was friendly and helpful however.

not an issue for me as i got a parking space but hotel only has 2 parking spaces onsite. parking nearby is difficult as is in a residential zone or isn't suitable for day parking.

Everything about the hotel is just lovely. Very clean and comfortable.

They did me ballon’s and stars etc for my birthday which was beautiful and great friendly owner and customer service highly recommend and will be going back! :)

Great location by the park and town centre in walking distance. Very quiet. Good parking. Bedroom and en suite were very clean. Bed was soft and very comfortable. Helpful staff.

Mould to corner of room where had been likely damp or cold area. No hot water for shower in the morning! Radiator was not working properly so room was cold. Staff helped to use facilities in a different room but would have been a problem if no other vacancies.

Quiet area but in the centre of town. Parking around the corner (2 min walk), room was a good size, customer service etc was great. No issues.

I ordered the room for 2 people and they only made it up for 1. One towel, one glass, one cup etc but I just nipped downstairs and asked for another.

The Room was amazing and the view over the park was a bonus

Staff was absent, rude and unhelpful. Didn't up sell the restaurant/bar or breakfast. We were told our room was upstairs - that was it. Communal doors that were security locked - didn't work or have soft closing which had a security risk plus was disturbing when noisy guest come back in early hours of the morning

Location was excellent

No breakfast but sure it was advertised Supposed to be de-luxe room - don’t think it was. Lack of toilet rolls / coffee/ milk/ sugar - asked for more - got minimum Only appeared to be one person doing everything

Was pleasantly surprised when I got there as I had seen some reviews which did worry me. Very clean and staff friendly. Bar was great. Great location.

Windows were constantly condensated. So had to open then which wasn’t too good as it’s was cold. Curtains sitting on top of heater which I would have thought was a fire hazard.

Location was brilliant. Very close to the Majestic Theatre and a short walk to the town centre.

Nice from the outside. Clean. People working there were welcoming.

The fittings seem to be poorly looked after. The shelf in the bathroom was loose as well as the toilet seat. Despite numerous attempts the WiFi didn’t work in the room but it did work in reception. I gave up trying in the end.

I rented the apartment in this hotel. It was very spacious and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. I didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food.

Sofa was slightly worn and shower door needs repair.

Convenient location

We had booked a parking Bay and had that confirmed. And when we got there, somebody else had taken it, and there was no other option until I fought for it, and it was put in the garage overnight for one night only, and in order to exit the garage, we had to wait for somebody to come and open the garage door. the room number eight that we had been allocated Was terrible. When we open the doors to going, the room smelled musty and damp, there was a big damp patch in the top left corner. When I went to go and open the windows to led in some fresh air, there was black mould on the windows and up the side of the wall, we had to have the window open a fraction because of the smell in the room and the window shutters rattled the entire night. We didn't sleep well at all. The bed was terribly uncomfortable, the mattress is broken. You collapse into the middle of the bed. The left tap in the sink in the bathroom freely turned around by itself. There were some permanent stains on the floor around the toilet, which left little to the imagination. The kettle only worked if you stood there with your hand on the lid, pushing down on the kettle. All in all the room was awful. We were not impressed with the service. It seemed like the person on duty had crawled out of bed. And when I wanted to speak to him, or somebody the next day as we had booked for 2 nights and we were not going to stay in that room the second night, there was nobody at reception. We had to make a phone call. And when somebody answered the phone, they sounded half asleep. We landed up speaking to a lady who came in shortly after, an employee, who tried to help But she could not speak English at all and had to try and use a translator on her phone. Eventually, we left, she let us out.

The location was good.

There was hole in the wall, lampshade was very dusty, shower head was very mouldy, wifi and tv didn't work.

It’s was close to the wedding we were attending

It was just ok, nothing special. Strong smell of damp and a hole in our room wall where the shower has leaked. No TV remote. Very odd parking arrangements.

It was nice being next to the park especially as we had a child with us

It was small, cramped and not really that clean. The booking said we would have breakfast so we presumed as the picture suggested it would be a cooked breakfast but it was cereal. Our child’s bed was basically in a cupboard that freely opened up into a staircase and anyone could have entered without us knowing so obviously we she had to share a bed with me and her dad slept in there. There were no toiletries as suggested in the advertisement. The room so so uncomfortably hot and the windows barely opened. The child’s “sofa bed” was uncomfortable and you could feel the metal underneath the flimsy mattress.

The location. The whole place itself has potential of being a lovely hotel.

Not clean, dusty in places. Bin broken in bathroom, broken furniture in room, no remote control or fan in room. Window unable to hold once open. Whole hotel needs to be dated. Old decor and furniture.

Hi the location was perfect, and Sai the owner let me park on the front of the hotel, he was very friendly, helpful and very nice to deal with, nothing was too much trouble, very good value for money, the rooms have tea coffee facilities and an empty mini fridge which was fine as you could chill your own suppies,due the location there was so much choice for breakfast for us that was no problem at all as breakfast is not an option, the bar very nice good atmosphere and reasonably priced with a nice beer garden all in all fantastic stay and will definitely return.
