Peaceful, relaxing, welcoming place.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed by Chandra. We received a welcome drink and dessert. Yum! The garden was more developed than photos which was great. The villa was clean spacious and the beds were amazing. It was a lane way walk to come out onto the rice fields. Very peaceful and quiet. A 20min walk to Ubud centre. Definitely will be back and recommend to others.

This stay was phenomenal! So safe, so accommodating, the view was fantastic. No notes!

Chandra the manager and the staff was exceptional. I was a single mother traveling with 2 children (10 and 7). They made me feel so safe and there was no concern for safety. Chandra also went out of his way to bring my children treats that they loved! We felt so welcomed and taken care of. Will recommend highly!!

Highly recommended

We loved the serenity and surrounded by rice field and lush landscape. The service was great and staff were attentive. We were served breakfast in our own dinning area by staff. The private swimming pool that we shared only with next unit was great experience. It felt we were at our own private estate. It was a quiet season.

Didn’t Like the smell of mosquito incense that was placed in the evening by staff. The bedroom were air conditioned but lounge were not.

Wonderful host and wonderful home!

Chandra and his team were wonderful - greeting us at such a late time with drinks and dessert, organising breakfast, water tank refills - really just being great help with anything we needed! For a group of 9 we loved this place. Out of the hustle and bustle of Ubud but still close by, and everything else is possible with rideshares. It is perhaps a little out of the way, but to have that peace and such a nice view, you need to be just outside the main strip. There is also a convenience store (minimart) in front of the villa. Dedicated parking spot for our van and kitchen was well stocked too. Great sleep as its so quiet, aircon in all the rooms, and even though we brought several tubes of mosquito repellent none of us got bit when we were at the villa. After a long day of walking Ubud and travelling around Bali, we always looked forward to going back to the villa!

Beautiful villa with amazing views

Beautiful villa with serene views and amazing staff. Chandra and staff were wonderful and accommodating hosts. The pool was pristine and the rooms were roomy, tidy, and comfortable. Would 100% stay again!

Just a little bit of a walk into the villa but staff can help you get luggage etc, and it’s away from traffic noise so we didn’t mind. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing place to stay in Ubud

We can't rate this place high enough. The place was perfect for us. Even the gechos entertained the kids. Chandra was a great Host and made sure everything was sorted for us.. Do yourself a favour and stay here. We usually don't stay anywhere twice however I will definitely take my extended family or friends back.

Peaceful and close to Ubud.

The villa is close to Ubud centre but quiet, with rice fields on both sides. Birds, geckos, frogs and fireflies all around. The rooms are lovely. The bed rooms are air-conditioned but not the living space. The pool is in front of the villa overlooking rice fields and shared with the neighbouring villa.

A washing machine would be useful.

Beautiful location with incredible staff!

Beautiful villa in a gorgeous location! Chandra and his team were so lovely and professional and took exceptional care of us. Our trip was somewhat eventful with heavy rains and unexpected medical incidents, however Chandra and the staff assisted us with our every need and ensured that we still had a great holiday. From freshly prepared afternoon tea to organising massages at the villa, they really went above and beyond! Highly recommend.

Exceptional.

It is hard to find the words for how much we loved our stay at the Champaca Luxury Villas. Everything was perfect: from the comfort to the wonderful view, from the delicious breakfast to the exceptional staff. They were so kind to our kids. We feel blessed for the opportunity to stay at this place and will definitely come back. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Secluded spot that offers peace and quiet alongside exceptional services

Chaz and the team were waiting for us when we pulled up at the property ready to walk us down to the villa. It is a little off the main road but that just made it all the more peaceful. The team couldn’t do enough for us and the little extra touches like the afternoon tea and biscuit when we left made us feel really taken care of. If you want an affordable place to stay that is close to a beautiful restaurant, AMart and spa for cheap massages that is quiet and secluded this is it.

Only slight downside were the pair of enormous geckos living behind the painting in the lounge area but they soon disappeared when we exposed their hiding spot 🤣

A Perfect Villa in the Perfect Location with Perfect Hosts

The Villa was in a perfect location, nestled in the rice fields yet walking distance to the city centre. Everything you need is nearby including an excellent restaurant (Kalos), Spa (Candra), Laundry Service (Kusuma Wash) and Scooter Rental (Darma Putra). We were greeted on arrival by Chandra, Ingot and team who looked after us so attentively during our stay, meticulously handling every detail. The Villa is very comfortable and so peaceful giving us the perfect sanctuary to rest and relax in between our daily activities. The Breakfast every morning was so delicious and very generous with a great variety and the daily afternoon tea was a welcomed treat every day. The pudding on arrival was my favourite - so delicious!! We really enjoyed every single minute of our stay at Champaca Luxury Villas and and pleased to give it our highest recommendation and endorsement. If you're looking for a true Bali experience with that famous Balinese hospitality BOOK NOW and ENJOY! Thank you to Chandra and team for making our holiday so memorable with your tireless dedication - we will be back!!

Quintessentially rural in character, perfect for unwinding, with well-equipped facilities and a generous breakfast spread. The hosts extend a warm welcome.

Exceptional experience close to city centre

The accommodation is in a unique area between rice fields with a great swimming pool and fantastic villa. All the facilities are available and the bed is super comfortable. The team is always there to help you and they are really nice, specially the manager, Chandra who is the perfect host. The breakfast is exceptional.

🌿 We had a truly wonderful stay at Champaka Villa!

Chandra was so kind and attentive even before our arrival, doing everything he could to make our stay perfect. We were a big group of nine, but he handled everything with such care and professionalism that we were able to enjoy every moment without any stress. The breakfast and homemade afternoon tea were both absolutely delicious and beautifully presented — they made us happy every single day! Thanks to their regular mosquito control, we could relax outside comfortably anytime without worrying about bites. We loved our evening talks in the living area, the breathtaking rice field views, the night pool under the stars — and even got to see fireflies! It was magical. Honestly, we can’t wait to come back again soon. We almost don’t want to recommend this place too much because it might get too popular to book! 😆 Huge thanks to Chandra, Igott, and all the wonderful staff for making our stay unforgettable. Excellent service and great location, a must stay

Excellent location, very scenic and peaceful. The staff were the best I have had, many thanks to Chandra, Ingot and all villa staff as well as Kamong for driving us around. Exceeded all my expectations and nothing was too hard or too much to arrange from transport to laundry to meals and recommendations of where to go. Always a smile and happy to have a chat with our family. 100% recommend anyone going to Ubud to stay here for the service alone but the villa was excellent. Thank you to all for a very memorable trip, it is much appreciated!

Hospitality and incredible views

From the initial welcome to the breakfasts and treats along the way, combined with the incredible views, our stay at Champaca was fantastic. Chandra and the team were the most hospitable hosts you could want. They helped with anything you needed, delivered fantastic Indonesian breakfasts in the morning (and pancakes for the kids), organised transport, and delivered wonderful afternoon teas whilst we lounged by the pool. The property was great, clean and plenty of space both inside, on the terrace and by the pool overlooking the incredible views of the rice fields. Location is good, 15 minutes or so walk to the town centre. We tended to take Taxis to most places as the roads did not have footpaths, however they are very cheap via Grab or Gojek (although be aware traffic in Ubud is pretty congested). Overall we had a fantastic time at Champaca and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Chandra kept in touch prior to arrival and Ingot was there for our arrival to meet and greet us us with a welcome drink an desert. Breakfast was delicious every morning and the villa was perfect for our stay with beautiful views.

A must stay place in Ubud

Everything about this stay was exceptional - Chandra, Ingot and the rest of the staff met us from our taxi, took all of our luggage down the small path to the property (about 3 minute walk off the busy road) and when you arrive at the villas it’s like stepping into your own private paradise. We had welcome drinks and snack on arrival, every morning there was a delicious breakfast of fruit platter, juice and main course of your choice, and then mid afternoon drinks and snacks were provided- all truly delicious. When we left at 3am one morning for a Mount Batur trek, take away breakfast was delivered to us the night before. Chandra organised massages for us at the villa, provided medicine when our daughter wasn’t well, and overall the whole team were so friendly and could not do enough to make our stay truly wonderful. I would not hesitate to return and would recommend Champaca villas to everyone. Ubud is a very busy bustling place, only a 10 minute walk away, and it was always lovely to return to our villa which was so peaceful and the highlight of our trip

Beautiful relaxing villa, surrounded by rice fields but with easy access to Ubud.

Beautiful villa with the most stunning views. The staff are incredibly friendly and warm, offering afternoon tea (cake or cookies) and a wonderful breakfast and engaging conversation about Bali and its culture. It is so peaceful and relaxing (no dogs or chickens here). A very special place in the middle of rice fields (front and back views), with an infinity pool over the field and only 15 minutes from central Ubud. Easy to get a taxi if you can’t manage the walk. No hesitation in saying that we’d return.

Fantastic villa with excellent and attentive staff

A fantastic villa complex in a nice quiet area close to some good restaurants and a short 15 minute walk (or 5 minute taxi ride) into central Ubud. The villas are comfortable, clean and very nicely furnished, with a delicious breakfast served in the villa. All the staff were very helpful and accomodating with special mention to Chandra and Ingot who went out of their way to ensure our stay was a memorable one. I highly recommend these villas to anyone looking at a stay in the Ubud area.

Great stay with great staff

Very close to central Ubud but away from the hustle. 3 mins away from Kalos cafe where we had dinner and breakfast. We also ordered the breakfast at the villa for the adults, which was great. Rooms are all separate with their own amazingly large bathrooms, bed and aircon are comfy. Kids loved the pool and the princess beds with mosquito nets. Chandra the manager was amazing and organised our transfers and anything else we needed. We walked around Ubud and were able to walk back with a 8 and 9 year old. But there is not foot path so a bit easier after 7pm once the traffic died down.

Nothing about the property it was perfect. Just take some bug repellent if you’re waking around in the evening in Ubud.

The view from the Villa looking out to the rice fields is good. The staff is courteous.

1. Roof leaked during rains 2. It’s a looong walk from the road - unsuitable for older people - specially because the road is slippery in places 3. The open bathrooms are great in concept but are filled with insects after sunset.

Everything was perfect! The villa was lovely, very clean, very spacious, with absolutely stunning views of the rice fields. The breakfast was delicious. The pool was great. Everything was so well maintained. Chandra was incredibly helpful and we could not have asked for more. It’s about a 15 min walk into town, there’s also nice restaurants within five mins walk nearby as well. We had a really wonderful time. This is my third time in Ubud and my favourite place I’ve stayed! Would highly recommend.

Wonderful Villa, comfortable and relaxing setting

The location was very central and easy to get around. The staff were very accommodating and made our stay extra comfortable. The pool was our favorite part!

Villa needs a little maintenance like a paint on the inside and the showers hose and tap need some repair work. But it didn’t affect our stay.

Fantastic and spacious villa with 2 large bedrooms and bathrooms. Really nice to open the house front and back to create an open space. Furthermore nice views on the pool and rice terrace. The every morning a nice breakfast was served and every day rooms and towels got refreshed. Chandra and his team did everything to make us feel welcome and relaxed!
