A beautiful and peaceful Villa in the heart of Ubud!

Excellent location within walking distance to everything. Our host was very kind, helpful and made a delicious breakfast for us daily. The villa was perfect for a group of friends meeting for a catch up. It was very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. We would stay here again.

Traditional, spacious and clean . Lovely natural garden and plunge pool. Great to be able to enjoy breakfast outside . Central location. Putri was amazing - very helpful and responsive to any requests (an iron was quickly provided and an issue with the water to one of the rooms one evening was resolved within a few hours).

Lighting was quite dim , especially in the bathrooms . No plug points near a mirror in Room 3 to dry hair - had to use another room.

The property was much better than expected. The pictures do not capture how beautiful this place is. Our flight was delayed until late at night and we were greeted with a smile and shown around by the lovely staff. The freshly cooked breakfast was delicious every morning. Totally recommend 😊🙏

Loved the villa, amazing staff.

Our group of 8 (two families) loved everything about the villa. It had so much character - and space. There was room for everyone to spread out yet plenty of communal area to enjoy. We arrived late at night in the pouring rain, and were met with umbrellas and towels to be ushered inside and make comfortable. The breakfasts were perfect with a choice of balinese or egg/toast, and our group got a combination of both to share, nothing was ever a bother. The kitchen space meant we could store and prepare snacks (or meals if we stayed longer perhaps) and had everything we need. The location was central and meant we could walk to the main sights including the Monkey Forest during our short stay. Lovely Putri, the rest of the staff and the villa were the highlight of our stay in Ubud.

A unique property in a great location with great service, but some improvements needed.

Putri and her team are first class, breakfast was enjoyable, garden and pool are, ideal small pool for children and relaxation, wildlife in garden, central location close to market, shopping and restaurants, plenty of varied indoor seating areas.

Biggest disappointment were the showers in most of the rooms. Out of five showers only two were adjustable and had hot water and pressure. This would prevent us recommending the property. Pool was not cleaned during our stay. Not all rooms are equal, some are way better than others; for five equal couples it would be difficult to allocate rooms and please everyone.

Location was superb! Walking distance to everything. Putri was lovely and very helpful and responded to any issues straight away.

As a group of women traveling, the rooms were very separate and a bit isolated. Better lighting in bathrooms and powerpoints near mirrors would be good.

Hidden Gem

The location is excellent. Central to most things. The villa is huge and the staff were so friendly. Putri the manager would organise anything we required. We could eat breakfast at the time we chose to suit our daily activities. A driver can be available at request. Would definitely return to the villa.

The villa is up a slight lane where cars cannot access, More of a heads up for people that cannot walk far and carry their luggage with them.

Maruti Lane exceeded expectations- fantastic location, lovely Balinese decor, wonderful villa manager and staff who went out of their way to help with everything we needed, and a personal touch bringing us local treats to taste. Very relaxed and accommodating, helping us organise activities. Very clean. Breakfast was great - we mostly had a Balinese breakfast. We learned a lot about the local culture through our villa manager as well. We loved it so much that we extended our stay until the next guests were due to check in. This villa would be great for a couple of families as it’s extremely spacious with lots of little nooks inside and out to spend quiet time. Extra large living area off the main bedroom and another large living area off another bedroom as well as a tv room and several outdoor areas.

If we have to pick something that could be improved it would be Brighter lighting in the main bedroom and bathroom. Lighting was nice and soft but not great for reading or applying makeup 🙂

An exceptional villa - a private oasis in the centre of Ubud, especially after several weeks of intensive travelling. Everything, especially the interior and the garden, was beyond expectations. That is the place to come back and recommend to anybody planning a visit to Ubud.

Lovely traditional architecture / artworks. We loved the raised platform with gamalan 'xylophone'. Location was great, with town, shops, palace and restaurants all within walking distance. Lovely breakfast with very helpful and patient staff.

Gorgeous villa in the heart of Ubud

Manuti Villa is perfect for a group of people to stay and explore central Ubud. A short walk to shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. The house itself is peaceful and beautiful, with lovingly maintained grounds, a cooling dip pool, exquisitely decorated rooms, and spaces for everyone to come together or have privacy. The staff are very helpful, breakfast is cooked for you every morning in the kitchen, everything was absolutely perfect. This is a quiet haven hidden away from the busy streets for Ubud.

The stay was perfect. Just as a Booking/Airbnb Host ourselves, the only downside was the sheets, pillow cases and duvet cover in the main bedroom were clean but very yellow and heavily stained. Maybe good to invest in new linen.

Located in the heart of Ubud this villa is a perfect, quiet and relaxing retreat. The staff was incredibly helpful. Recommended for a larger group, as the price is quiet high if going alone. But if it is ok for you, I could recommend this villa without any complain.

You have to search, to find something to critize. Maybe the doors could be more easy to open and lock. Especially the one after the main door and the one top left.

Verborgen paradijs in hartje Ubud

Wat een mooi huis. Ik reis best veel en besteed altijd veel aandacht aan de accomodaties. Maar zoiets geweldigs heb ik nooit eerder ervaren. Enorm groot en zeer rijk aan de prachtigste balinees/hindustaanse details. En ook de tuin is zo mooi, met veel bloemendragende bomen. Putri en haar team zijn zeer professioneel, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Haar man is een erg prettige chauffeur bovendien. Lekker ontbijt. Een heerlijk rustig paleis, midden in een drukke stad . En o ja ik heb geen enkel probleem met douches kunnen ontdekken. Mijn vrouw en 3 volwassen kinderen en ik komen heel graag weer terug.

Prachtig verblijf

Werkelijk prachtig. Middenin het centrum en geen geluidsoverlast. Ideaal. Villa is ruim en voorzien van alle gemakken. Elke slaapkamer met eigen badkamer. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame host. Fijn hier te kunnen verblijven, aanrader. Foto's komen overeen met de werkelijkheid.

Beneden was het douche gedeelte vrij glad om te staan en de douchestraal was te zacht. Verder scheen het ochtend licht en bliksem flitsen onder de gordijnen door waardoor we gewekt werden.
