Beautiful converted Church

Beautiful building wrapped in history. Beautifully decorated with stories and historical clippings. Comfy good-sized bedrooms. Good-sized kitchen fully equipped. Comfy lounge area. Lots of beautiful glass vases and decorations throughout the property. Peaceful location. Beautiful garden with a shaded area which was perfect for hot summer days. Secluded location 10 minute drive to a fabulous chocolate shop and 15 minutes to nearest supermarkets. 15/20 minutes to nearest town Tubize where you can park for free and jump train to Brussels.

Property is recommended for families and dogs however the property has a lot of beautiful breakable items. The garden area is not secure or fenced so we couldn't let the dog off lead and quite a drop if it fell or slipped.

Unique stay in lovely area!

The whole ambiance of the accommodation was very impressive since it is an old chapel. Michael really has a passion for the chapel and loved telling us about it.

there were things everywhere. But we got used to that quite quickly.

Quality time for Family & Friends

1. Best Mattres, very comfortable 2. Allot of space 3. Big garden for BBQ & Kids Playing 4. Full Equiped Kitchen 4. Comfortable Living Room with wood Fire Kamin 5. Very interesting Building History & Glass collections, Chapple is amazing with very good Acustic for singing lovers 😀 6. Michael the Host is very nice, caring , make all effort to give his guests best feeling 7. Hot water Bath room, fully equipped. 8. Only 25~30KM from Charleroi Airport, 25 minutes drive. 9. Green Nature surrounding area with rivers, Grass and Trees, and nice villages 10. Private Parking Place just infront the home.

1. I'm not sure if gas heating in sleeping room was working, we had warm days on April so no need. Make sure with the owner if you come in winter. 2.If you look for modern house, i'm not sure it is the place for you. It is a unique holiday apartment with a lot of character 3. No channel TV. There are few board games in Children room, so you shall plan a quality evening with family & friends.

Cosy stay at unique location

Very interesting place with history, lots of things to discover. Kids love the little bird CuiCui that lives in the chapel. Cosy fireplace.

Voor wie zoekt naar een uitzonderlijk verblijf.

Bijzonder verblijf in een oude kerk met veel historie. Michaël is een vriendelijke man die boven de gîte woont en steeds paraat stond voor ons. Gezellige haard die de woonruimte verwarmde.

Als het eens iets anders mag zijn dan een klassiek verblijf, dan moet je zeker dit eens doen

Een warm ontvangst van de gastheer zelf. We kregen een rondleiding met al de nodige informatie. De haardvuur lag al aan en de sfeerverlichting gaf ons direct een gevoel van welkom. Het is een speciale locatie om te logeren, dicht bij mooie plekjes om te wandelen. Hele goede bedden, 2 badkamers en 3 toiletten.

Zalig verblijf gehad met vrienden in een zomers weekend, met privacy in het groen!

Zeer ruim vakantieverblijf, dat je terugkatapulteert naar de tijd waarin industrialisatie, nieuwe materialen en de kerk openstonden voor vernieuwing. Rustig gelegen in een groene omgeving met een leuk terras achter de kapel waar het op warme zomeravonden met vrienden zeer gezellig toeven is. Binnen een eclectisch samenspel van oneindig veel objecten met een retrokeuken, waar je werkelijk alles vindt. Handig zijn twee badkamers en drie toiletten.

Alles was netjes en proper, maar hou er rekening mee dat dit geen nieuw of pas verbouwd vakantieverblijf is, dus kraaknet is onmogelijk.

Un lieu magique, plein de poésie et d'histoire. Michael est un hôte charmant et très disponible. Prenez le temps de l'écouter vous raconter l'histoire de ce lieu

Ce lieu et son propriétaire sont atypiques.

L'espace mis à la disposition de nos invités le soir de notre arrivée. Trois d'entre eux équipés de matelas ont dormi dans la chapelle avec l'accord du propriétaire indemnisé comme convenu.

L'arrivée inopinée du propriétaire pendant le repas aux fins de contrôle.

Erg mooie en bijzondere plek om te verblijven. Warme ontvangst en korte rondleiding door onze gastheer Michaël. Fijne slaapkamers en comfortabele woonkamer met houtkachel. Wij hebben een super weekend gehad!

Sfeervolle aanrader

Heel sfeervol.. Oergezellig met de houtkachel. Uitzicht op de kapel vanuit de slaapkamers. Gastvrije en behulpzame eigenaar.

De staat van het sanitair, de toiletpot was behoorlijk aangeslagen. De keuken, geen vaatwasser en inductieplaat werkte niet lekker. Bovendien kun je het kraanwater niet drinken. Wil wel vermelden dat de eigenaar ons voorzag van flessen water.

De uitstraling van de kapel

Geen TV aansluiting. De verhuurder wist ook niet hoe het werkte. Een nieuw toilet ( nu erg bruin) zou geen overbodige luxe zijn.
