A perfect base for exploring iconic Flanders cycling routes.

Annelies, our host, was exceptionally responsive and attentive. The location was perfect for cycling many of the iconic routes in Flanders, including the Muur van Geraardsbergen which is close by. The accommodations were spacious, comfortable, and clean. A quaint farmhouse with lots of charm. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace after a long day. An excellent stay. I would highly recommend.

Lovely big cozy house and garden, excellent country side, perfect getaway.

Walter and Annelies were great hosts, and they made us feel very much at home. The house and garden are beautiful and really big. The kitchen is very well equipped and the living room is cozy. Great for a retreat with colleagues or for a family get away in the Flemish Ardennes. The horse and sheep are a major bonus!

Can't really fault the place except that for some big groups one bathroom might not suffice. We coordinated our shower regimes so didn't really have any issues with that. The bathroom is really beautiful and clean though!

De grote ruimte, de gezellige tuin, goeie wifi, veel bestek, borden, glazen en zo, goeie frigo, leuk van extra frigo, heel tof dat salvador er was!

Wir haben eine gute Zeit gehabt.

Das Haus und Grundstück sind sehr großzügig. Ideal für Familien mit Kindern die älter als 2 Jahre sind. Super, dass es einen Ofen im Haus gab und eine Feuerstelle im Garten.

Die mail mit dem Ort des Hausschlüssels hat uns leider nicht mehr erreicht, da wir schon unterwegs waren. Nette Nachbarn haben uns aber geholfen. Da es Nachts noch sehr kalt war und die Einstellung der Heizung scheinbar nicht an die Zeitumstellung angepasst war, war es Morgens kalt im Haus. Das "Ganze" benötigt , für unsere Vorstellungen, sicher mehr Pflege.

Ruhige Erholungsoase, gerne mal wieder

Das Haus hat Charme, an manchen Ecken wird wohl noch etwas renoviert. Das Haus ist groß, die Betten sehr gut, ruhige Lage. Hauskatze sollte gefüttert werden. Vermieter sehr nett, alles unkompliziert, Kontakt bis zur Abreise per Mail lief gut. Wir waren wohl die einzigen Touristen im Dorf, haben kein ausländisches Fahrzeug bemerkt. Großer Kühlschrank/Herd, man kann sich gut selbst versorgen. Schöner Garten und ein Bodentrampolin im Garten, das meinem Sohn viel Spass gemacht hat. Großes Badezimmer. Guter Startpunkt um Städte wie Brüssel, Gent, Waterloo.... zu besuchen.

Vordergründig sauber, man darf sich allerdings nicht näher umschauen, auch beim Fensteraufmachen aufpassen etc (vielleicht bin ich da auch etwas pingelig); dass Gasflaschen im Keller gelagert werden, hat uns ein ungutes Gefühl gemacht. Um Essen zu gehen und einzukaufen, muss man fahren, fußläufig ist nichts erreichbar.

Ruhig und gemütlich

Ruhige Lage. Schöne große Terrasse und Wiese. Viel Platz zum Spielen für Kinder und ein riesiges Trampolin. Tolle Feuer und Grill Platz. Schöner großer Küchen-/Wohnbereich, viel Platz.

Es war kein Toaster vorhanden. Es hätten mehr Gewürze vorhanden sein können, Eierbecher fehlten auch.
