Clean decent safe area, staying here is a plus to my trip and sure great host

It’s very central to everything you ever need as a tourist.. decent and safe locations and I thought it would be impossible to sleep at night due to lots of shop and such location but from 8pm it so peaceful and quiet.. also the apartment have everything you ever needed

The location was very good. The street and the surroundings were very calm, so no drunk yelling in the middle of the nig

The location was great. Everything was very close by and walking distance. The room was very nice and to me looked just as big as the picture, which normally isn’t the case.

The hot water wasn’t working the first morning, but when I texted I got a very quick response back. And he fixed it very quick, I think 30 minutes later it was working again. So very good help

Good Location for a city break but choose a higher floor!

Location was excellent. Always felt safe, even coming back late at night. Antwerp has great restaurants, bars and cultural attractions so a good choice for a city break.

While definitely not the owners fault, the fact that the room was on the first floor on a busy street and there were curtains but no blinds, meant that you were pretty much on display when you were in the room. (Black out curtains so if they were closed we were in the dark!) Also being on the first floor meant that you were often woken by guests staying on floors above us noisily (and drunkenly), going upstairs after returning late at night. Strongly recommend getting a room higher up, just so you are not woken up as we were by loud conversations and people falling upstairs!

It was an excellent stay.

The location was fantastic, felt very safe and the street was active until late. The street noise did not bother us at all.

It would have been nice to have some sort of breakfast available, although there was a supermarket downstairs for supplies.

Above the barbershop

Great little place. I had to return to return to Antwerp a few days later and was so sad to not see it available on booking. I slept so well in the cozy, quiet space. Clean and ordered with a tiny patio for fresh air. WiFi works well, had to take a few work zoom calls. Great barber underneath.

Beautiful apartment perfect access to bars and restaurants.

The property was clean and comfortable, everything you expect. The mini kitchen was perfect to prepare breakfast or a small lunch. Supermarket across the road.The location was perfect in walking distance to all activities and attractions. Bars and restaurants right outside on the street. Good wifi.JP was super helpful.

You must be fit to walk up the narrow stairs. You get the street noise in night and the delivery vans in morning. New parking restrictions.

Amazing, clean apartment right in the heart of central Antwerp! This is where you want to be!

Super cute, modern apartment right in the heart of the old city. It is so central and a 5 minute walk to Grote Markt and Cathedral of our Lady. Surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars - it was the perfect place for a solo traveller or couple! The room was clean, comfortable!

There is no elevator and only a narrow staircase. I did read about it before booking the accommodation so I knew what to expect. Try to pack light :)

Good but not Great

The location is excellent. Stone throw away from the main square. The place is smaller than we thought but comfortable.

What we weren't very keen on was the laminate like flooring and a particularly musty smell in the bathroom. We were also a bit thrown by the fact that even after missing our first night due to no fault of our own - host was informed of our arrival time but never said that we'd miss the last train - the host messaged reminding us of check-out at 11 (quite sternly to) and to pay the city tax, which we had already left in the room while packing, but not to remind us to go have our free drink at her bar which was promised on the listing details.

Reasonable Price, Clean Rooms, Prime Location.

The rooms were clean and, although we had chosen the largest bed option available still spacious enough for the two of us. The personal messages from the hosts made us feel welcome and safe, the room was clean and although not luxurious in set up, the location was absolutely worth the price. We had an overall amazing stay which was in large part due to our comfortable accommodation at Japie Rooms.

Perfect location with tasteful touches in the heart of Antwerp.

Perfect location with lovely hosts. They were friendly and easy-going, and helped me out with several requests for my stay! They even give you a welcome drink at their cool bar :) Cute furnishings, super comfortable mattress and pillows, incredibly quiet, in a central location on a cool street and with everything a person could need for a wonderful stay in Antwerp. I will be back again soon!

The bathroom and mini-kitchen are on the older side, but they still got the job done! All the kitchen bits and bobs were new though and the water pressure in the shower was good (and water got hot super fast).

Een hele centrale plek voor een bezoek aan Antwerpen! Heel goed contact met de huisbaas, en fijn dat ons koffietje even mocht blijven staan na het uitchecken. Alles wat je nodig had, is er. ‘s nachts is het echt stil, wat ik bijzonder vond aan een grote stad.

Het appartement was wat donkerder dan ik had verwacht op basis van de foto’s. En het bed was wat aan de zachte kant, maar dat is maar net wat je gewend bent.

een gezellige studio om aan paar dagen in te verblijven, om antwerpen te ontdekken.

de locatie was top en midden in het centrum. de kamer was perfect om met zijn tweeën een paar nachten te verblijven. we hebben in de ochtend eireren gebakken, omdat er een klein fornuisje was. ik zou hier alleen niet een heel uitgebreide avondmaaltijd maken. verder was het erg schoon en zag de kamer eruit als of de foto's.

La localización es inmejorable, cerca de todo pero en una zona bastante tranquila.

Locatie midden in het centrum is uitstekend! Hoewel het gehorig was buiten, hebben we geen geluidsoverlast ervaren (alleen gehoor gehad van vuilnisophalers of laden en lossen van winkels onder het verblijf). Wij verbleven doordeweeks van maandag t/m donderdag, mogelijk zal de gehorigheid anders zijn in de weekenden. De badkamer en het keukentje was heel schoon, fijne douche en wc zoals het hoort. Duidelijke en op tijd instructies van de host gekregen om binnen te komen via een code.

Enige minpunt vinden we toch het bed dat aan de harde kant is wat het minder comfortabel maakte om te slapen.

Dobra lokalizacja. Samo centrum. Okno apartamentu dla 3 osób nie było na ulicę więc mimo centrum było bardzo cicho. Przestrzeń dobrze zorganizowana i bardzo dobry kontakt z wynajmującym. Bardzo czysto. Jednak apartament ma już swoje lata i przydałby się mały remont. Generalnie polecam

Słuchawka odpadała od prysznica. Na naszą prośbę dozownik na mydło przy zlewie został uzupełniony ale pod prysznicem już nie.

Perfect voor een paar dagen Antwerpen!

Dit appartement heeft alles wat je nodig hebt als stel! Het is een ruim genoeg, schoon en centraal gelegen appartement. Met 1 minuut lopen sta je op de Grote Markt. Aangezien de woning op de 3e verdieping aan de achterkant is gelegen, was het 's nachts erg rustig. Ook fijn contact met de eigenaresse. Ik zou Japie rooms zeker aanraden als je een paar dagen in Antwerpen gaat verblijven! (Tip: wij parkeerden de auto op P+R Linkeroever en gingen met de metro naar het centrum, dat is vele malen goedkoper dan parkeren in het centrum)

In principe viel niks tegen. Wij hadden het alleen fijn gevonden om een kleine kledingkast te hebben in de kamer om onze kleren op te bergen. Ook is het appartement 3 trappen omhoog, maar voor enigszins jonge benen is dat geen probleem!
