Amazing stay!

Wonderful stay! Easy entrance through a key box and friendly and helpful communication. The apartment was super spacious and the shower was amazing. Walking distance to all highlights and a quiet neighbourhood.

Perfect place and location

We liked the location, very central , well equipped kitchen, comfortable couch, cozy bed - we slept so well (we didn’t hear the road noise once windows were closed and door to living room shut). Spacious shower. Separate room for toilet which is not in the bedroom. We were surprised how big this place is. Yes, stairs are steep and small staircase but we are fit people with bagpacks only. Also , it appears that most buildings in Antwerp have been built similarly since an old city ? Anyway, we love it here

Between fantasy and reality

Good location

Everything seemed kept not in very well condition. The size of the washbasin was absolutely ridiculous compared to the size of the bathroom, it’s a total disrespect to the guest. Maybe it’s the right size for the elfs supposed to be living in the house but not for humans.

Not recommending that at all!!

The only positive fact about the apartment was its location in the very nice neighbourhood and close to the heart of the city.

The apartment has no essential furniture like the door to the bathroom or cupboards to place your belongings!there is no diswasher or efficient cooling system.The apartment is uncomfortable with plenty of artificial plastic flowers.The charge for a dog-35 euros per night is a real rip -off!!

Truly a luxurious gem in Antwerp

The space is very large, comfortable and well equipped. Natural light is amazing. Bed is warm and comfortable.

The stairs to get to the apartment are very steep. Someone with any slight mobility issue would have a very hard time getting up there.

Close to old town but

Walking distance to city center old town and river.

No air con. Very hot in summer as its in loft. Very narrow stairs to the 4th floor. The property is a bit banged up and needs some repairs.

An excellent location and stay, just be wary of sleeping in the living room on Saturday night.

The apartment was really clean, absolutely spotless. The bedclothes smelled fresh and the floors were shining. The kitchen looked brand new. It's well equipped and we had everything we needed to make meals there for a family of four. The apartment is so central, we walked everywhere with two young kids. Many of the museums we wanted to visit were within 1km walk of the apartment. It's a perfect location except for Saturday night when it's a busy part of town.

The fan in the toilet wasn't working and that was not pleasant as we couldn't get rid of smells and the toilet is in the living room. Saturday night was really noisy on the street, which you could hear from the fold out bed in the living room. There were gangs of people shouting, and 'boy racers' in cars and motorbikes speeding up and down the street until 1am. It was so noisy we were not able to sleep on the fold out bed until it got a bit quieter after 1am. We had put the kids in the main bedroom which was dark and quiet, so they slept well. We were there until Tuesday and the other days were really quiet, it was just Saturday night and only on the fold out bed.

Practical location, unattentative host.

Nice practical location. Very spacious. Modern kitchen.

Street noise (earplugs are supplied, that speaks for itself!) Host did not supply PIN code for key box, and only did so after numerous contact attempts. Very sloppy! An apology from host would have been appreciated.

A great spacious place in the city centre.

The location was absolutely stunning, probably the loveliest part of the city - next the the old town, next to the riverfront and the museums, in a maze of beautiful, safe and atmospheric streets with shops and cafes. Also, this apartment is on the first floor, so not too many steps to climb. The street view was great and not too noisy. And the apartment had earplugs ready in case we were bothered. And the little bottle of bubbly you see in the apartment pics - it really was there, waiting for us, as was a selection of lovely teas and coffees. Also, the lady who looks after the apartment, Inna, was always available on WhatsApp and super helpful - it was good to feel we have someone to contact as we were new to the city.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable, but there is a slight problem with spaces to put our belongings. There are literally no hooks anywhere so we ended up having to always hang our jackets on the back of the dining chairs, so the place looked quite untidy. The same with regards to the little things like keys, mobile - there was no surface other than the dining table to put stuff on. The flat is large, there is an entrance where a line of hooks could be added, and a lot of floor space to put a sideboard of something. The same problem with a bathroom - not a single shelf to put toiletries, and not a single hook for the towels - that was very awkward when showering. But these things are minor and can be easily fixed - overall the flat is fantastic.

The contact with the owner was terrible. There wasn't warm water running and trying to contact the owner, but they didn't respond for more than 30 min.

City break in Antwerp

Very good location, close to the city center, nearby restaurants. Spacious apartament equipped with all what is needed.

There was a problem with an awful smell coming somewhere outside of the refridgerator. We asked the owner for help as it has required some disinfection or other action. Unfortunately no reaction. Therefore we needed to switch off the fridge so practicely we couldn't use it.

You can find way better Apartments with more rooms for cheaper !! I was forced to travel 4 hours and arrive at 3 am because the owner wouldn’t cancel my booking due to personal reasons. AFTER you book and make the PAYMENT you are told by the owner you HAVE to transfer the city tax to her foreign bank account which people from the U.K. cannot do as it is a IBAN number. VERY strange way to collect the city tax. Made me feel very uncomfortable and extremely stressed out as I had to plead to pay it in cash. Spoke to the owner for an hour pleading, even though I had ALREADY made the payment for the apartment. The owner should speak to people better and should include the city tax in the room payment like everybody else. This should be made VERY clear in the advert as people from U.K. cannot pay to foreign banks.

Die Lage war super

Es war sehr kalt. Dir Heizung hat eine Automatik, durch die sie nachts ausgeschaltet wird. Man kann sie selbst nicht anpassen. Bei -2°C Außentemperatur war es einfach nur kalt nachts. Auch mit 2 Decken.

Ruim appartement op een goede locatie met alle voorzieningen op loopafstand.

Snelle en duidelijke communicatie door de host. Locatie is goed, leuke buurt (wel aan een drukke weg) alles op loopafstand (inclusie de parkeergarage). Appartement is ruim en netjes.

Voor ons geen enkel probleem, maar houd rekening met een smalle, steile trap om bij het appartement te komen. Het 2 persoons bed was smal en de slaapbank voor ons dochter niet heel comfortabel, maar wel fijne kussens.

Perfetto per visitare Anversa

Posizione perfetta per godersi la città: l’appartamento si trova in una delle vie più famose e centrali ed è a circa 20 minuti a piedi dalla stazione. Anversa è stata una bellissima scoperta. Appartamento pulito e con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. La comunicazione con lo staff è stata puntuale, chiara ed efficiente. Esperienza molto positiva, consigliato.

de verwelkoming via het scherm op de TV. de privacy. de zelfstandigheid om binnen te komen. de rust en het comfort. alles was aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. ik voelde me net thuis.

Fijne plek, wel steile trappen.

De gecombineerde woonkamer en keuken is erg ruim en de keuken is voorzien van zowel thee als koffie van goede kwaliteit. Ook de badkamer is groot voor een appartement in het stadscentrum. We zijn per trein naar Antwerpen gereisd en het appartement is goed te voet bereikbaar vanaf het station.

Wel had ik willen weten dat de trappen wat steiler zijn dan ik als verwende Nederlander gewend ben. Er zaten ook erg lawaaierige duiven buiten die onze slaap lichtelijk verstoorden. Desondanks hebben we een fijn verblijf gehad.

MI APARTAMENTO EN AMBERES ❤️

Está muy bien ubicado (al lado de la Grote Markt),con un parking muy cerca, tiene una bonita decoración, muy buena iluminación (natural y artificial), las estancias son amplias, el sofá cama es grande y cómodo,y el menaje, y utensilios de cocina, muy completo. Subrayar que aunque, a continuación, voy a indicar 2 pequeños fallos...VOLVERÍA A ALOJARME EN ESTE APARTAMENTO.

Dos detalles no muy importantes: La cafetera de cápsulas no funcionaba (nos dijeron que quizás no colocabamos bien el contenedor de agua pero ese NO era el motivo. Estaba averiada.) Pero pudimos usar otra cafetera de prensa francesa. El otro detalle es que habiendo, en el baño, un recipiente de jabón para manos y otro de gel en la ducha NO tuvieron la cortesía de poner, al menos en uno de ellos, un poquito de gel (al menos para un primer uso).

Een fantastisch appartement in het centrum van Antwerpen.

Bij de locatie stapten we naar binnen en we kwamen in de kamer, die was heel groot. Een mooie grote keuken met faciliteiten. Een bankje. Een mooie televisie en een eethoekje. En een kapstok. Een aparte slaapkamer en een mooie grote badkamer. De locatie is ook fantastisch.

Er was helaas een raam kapot. Ook misten we een zeeppompje en een handdoekje bij het keukenblok. De verlichting bij de keuken was goed. Maar in de kamer misten we een lamp bij de televisie en bij de eethoek. In de slaapkamer misten we een kast voor de kleding. Ook was het jammer dat we geen extra handdoeken en WC papier hebben gekregen. En het is jammer dat er geen mogelijk is voor het opbergen van de bagage als je naar huis gaat of in ieder geval informatie erover geven.
