Nothing, it was dirty there were no parking spots and it smelled weird. the friendliness of the landlady

Cheap for a reason

Location was ok but that’s about it

Tbh the beds are just bad bad. The double was just 2 singles pushed together (actual single beds with sides) the matrices were cheap and hard. The rules to get your money back are harsh to the point our neighbours where insanely Loud (coming in at 5am yelling) but you didn’t want to say anything incase the complained. Also you might as well ask them into your apartment as everything they do echos. Also again be aware there is a €200 deposit that you don’t know until you have paid. There was a smell in the whole property(best way to explain like metallic blood smell)

Very practical place with a great location

Big and spacious, conveniently located.

I had to pay a deposit of €200 and although the owner never disputed that I would get it back, I had to send some reminders and wait a week for it.

Quiet and strategic location with a very good price.

It was a quiet location, halfway between the Berchem train station and the city centre. We had arranged some trips to other cities from Antwerp and that made it easier. The price was insuperable, with a very good price-quality relationship.

Bad maintained

Big apparment.

Really dirty blankets. The sheets smeelled like someone had pooped there. Really disgusting. The dishes were all dirty . All the beds are broken, so they are uncomfortable and they make noise at the minimum movement. You can listen to the neighbours until really late at night.

Nice appartment if you are with a big group

Big and clean appartment. Communication with the host was easy. Be aware that you need to pay quite some extra tourist tax and stuff after booking. It is written in the advertisement, just not super clear.

Kitchen was really bad equiped. It was 11 of us and there weren't 11 wine glasses. We decided just to take the soda glasses, but there weren't even 11 wine and soda glasses in total. This led to some people drinking wine out of a mug...

It was clean and neat.

After that I couldn't cancel the apprtment and only a few days left to the actual travel day, the owner asked 200 euros for deposit. He should have put this in the info or at least send the message before the canceltion due.

Lovely place, spacious with easy access . Clean and well equipped.

The Internet wasn't working at all. It wasn't even plugged in. We tried but it still didn't work. One of the bed was a bit broken so I was afraid to sit on it .Otherwise it was all perfect and lovely stay.

Terrible experience, not worth it

The apartment was clean and in good condition. Decent kitchen equipment.

The property host asked for a damage deposit of €200 to be paid, we paid using PayPal - 'Friends & Families' as suggested by the owner but when the same was returned back to us the exchange rate was terrible and we ended up losing almost £20. So you might think this apartment is cheaper than some others and then you end up paying more anyways Also the property host was terrible in managing the deposits and mixed us with someone else without checking the previous conversations and we had to spend a lot of time justifying to her that she mixed us up with someone else The property WiFi was pathetic and we just couldn't connect to it. Overall experience apart from stay was unpleasant and we ended up spending more effort on chatting with her long before our stay and almost upto 7 days after the stay for sorting all of these things for a stay of just 1 day which really feels unnecessary

The property is nicely located, clean and spacious . The fact that the keys are available via a code is convenient ( no need to make an appointment/ wait for the owner)

the long list of don’ts and the fact that a deposit for damages of 200eur needs to be wired on the owner’s account for a one night stay is a bit off putting, but the deposit was payed back straight after we left so at the end all was good ; I suppose the owner had some bad experiences in the past.

It was a pleasant stay!

It was really easy to receive the keys with a code. Also located middle in Antwerpen with many shops and restaurants. The place was also very clean and nice. Also a nice kitchen and many beds! Was a pleasant stay.

There was a rule that you had to be quiet after 10pm but there were still neighbours and kids that we heard shouting.
