Ella Silloam

We had a wonderful welcome from Priyanga, she was always responsive to messages and so very helpful. The room was spacious with a spectacular view. Priyanga brought us a different, very generous breakfast each morning to our balcony at a time that suited us. It's clear she is very proud of her town and had great suggestions for places to visit. Priyanga went above and beyond with her kindness, allowing us to stay later in our room and even arranging for our luggage to be dropped to us at the train station so that we could have more free time before we left. I highly recommend staying here! We didn't want to leave.

There was nothing to dislike!

This was the BEST stay we had in over 3 months of travelling SEA!!!! The location is spectacular with amazing balcony views. The rooms are spacious with lovely facilities and comfy beds. Air con works very well. It’s a 15 minute walk into the centre of Ella, but also about 5 minutes to Adam’s peak trail and Nine arches bridge trail. But the main reason this stay was so good was our host Priyanga. She was helpful and thoughtful throughout, even collecting us from Kandy and giving us a tour on the way. She helped us to plan our entire Sri Lanka trip and organise transport. She cooked delicious breakfast every morning and served it on our balcony. We cannot thank you enough Priyanga! We didn’t want to leave so we booked an extra night! Additionally there is also a great gym next door which you get half price as a guest of Silloam. Do NOT look anywhere else, you’ve found the best stay in Ella!!!

It’s a lovely hotel and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful. She served breakfast on our balcony at a time that suited us, organised getting our laundry done and even messaged me on the day we left to ensure we had enjoyed the train ride we had booked that day

Everything was excellent

The host was lovely and the room was perfect for what we needed - clean and comfortable.
