Nice stay but a few improvements required to meet the standards advertised

Good location and lovely property. Company very good to deal with and responsive but as advertised as luxury a few points for improvement to meet this standard: 1. Says there is a coffee machine but none in property which was disappointing for us. This should not be listed if not available 2. Front door lock is problematic and this is reflected in other reviews 3. Skimped on loo roll and no handwashi in downstairs loo bur available in other 4. No dish towels for drying dishes. There is a dishwasher but not always applicable to use this 4 Crockery etc lovely but cutlery very old , tinny, thin and cheap and needs replaced

Great overall.

Great, spacious accommodation. Comfortable and cosy.

Antibacterial spray would have been useful. Only washing up liquid available so not able to disinfect surfaces / bathrooms. Also cleanliness could have been better but wouldn’t stop me re-booking. Checkout of 10am is very early on a Sunday but they were helpful and allowed us to keep the car on the drive until later which was great.

Cousins weekend

Location was amazing .it was a lovely stylish house x very clean x true home from home x Would definitely stay again 😁

The only thing that would've improved the sitting room would've been for one extra arm chair as there was 6 of us x so I tended to sit on the floor x otherwise fantastic

Excellent location. Spacious bedrooms.

Creaky floorboards… kitchen cutlery drawer needed cleaning. We had to ask for radiators to be bled but they came v quickly so we were v pleased. But no one came to replace batteries in carbon monoxide monitor and we had told them about this when they came to do radiators.

Lovely stay in a great house and great location.

Lovely town house in a fabulous location. Easy walk into Chester and right on the wharf so lovely for starting walks and there’s a great pub on the water too. House had everything we needed and great to have an en suite.

Only one parking space with restricted parking surrounding the entire area is not ideal for a properly sleeping 6. I didn’t mind walking to a car park but don’t like leaving it in a car park overnight. It would be useful to use the garage in addition.

Perfect family city break!

There was plenty of space and all the comforts of home! The decor was lovely and and there was plenty of storage space and hangers for clothes. The location was perfect for walking to the city centre for attractions and great independent restaurants. The area was quiet in the evenings.

The neighbours parking in our parking space- but the company went above and beyond to rectify the situation.

Great base for a family adventure to make memories.

The property was clean and decorated really well. It was a great base for us to be able to visit Chester zoo from Newcastle. The bedrooms were well thought out and perfect for our family. The kids loved the feature wall in the sitting room.

had the cleaning staff been informed of our request re beds it would have been perfect!

it was in a good place, clean etc.

the beds weren’t set up as we had asked, we couldn’t get the TV to work and we had to wait 3 1/2 hrs for bedding and we had to split the bed and make up ourselves.

Perfect location, big house, very clean and friendly hosts!

Parking was limited to one car, but there are a couple of car parks around. One secure one less than 10min walk, 24hrs for £4 which we thought wasn't too bad. But there are a few more closer.

Great well situated apartment.

Keys in lockbox at property which makes checkin simple. We arrived earlier than checkin time and were allowed to park at the property which suited us.

Rooms were made up as doubles although pictures showed twin rooms which we preferred.

Location to destination we had to get to was great . Out of the way but close enough to walk which was great. Would defiantly stay again. All facilities match expectations and garden was a nice place on a sunny morning.

lack of seating . property is for 6 people but only dining chairs for 5 and sofas for 5 . Lack of glasses again not enough for 6 people . lack of plugs sockets . lighting was very poor not bright enough .

Easy walk to town. Well equipped. Modern furnishings and decoration. Large bedrooms.

Uncomfortable beds and uncomfortable sofas. Dismal lighting in lounge. Had to bring lamps from bedrooms in to brighten it up. Too hot. Heating on when it was already too hot in house. No way to adjust temp. Brown crust in all showers. Way too many stairs!!! Located in student let area so expect noise till early hours in street.
