It enabled us to explore Metz.

Proximity to the centre.

Not being able to see out windows. No information left, especially about the free green bus close to the apartment. Not getting details about access until the afternoon of arrival & having to request internet access at a business to receive these essential details!! No plug for kitchen sink. No communication back from the owner.

Passable

Instead of a studio, I got an appartment, with separate bathroom, living room and spacious bedroom. The room is fully equipped to prepare a light breakfast and a simple meal. It is at less than 10 minutes walking from all the main points of interest of Metz city centre. The cleanlyness of the room was perfect, but the building has severe sanitary problems.

The living room was rather plain in terms of decoration, the bathroom was the result of 20th century French improvisation and the sleeping room was dark, which is perfect by night but not ideal by day. To enter, you need a 4-number code at the building door and a 6-number code for the interior room, with a pinpad for the latter that is only half working. You better write it all down on a piece of paper, lest you stay locked out. The single worse thing is a strange pungent smell coming out of the cellar which repeatedly penetrates the room. My clothes still stink of it, so I'll have to whash them all again while on a very buzy trip. You'll never see the hosts.

This place is in a good location. It's only 10 minutes walk from the train station and 2 minutes onto the pedestrian only shopping street towards the center of the attractions. The cathedral is at the end of this walk roughly another 10 minutes away. The apartment is equipped with a comfortable king size bed with one quilt. The host who I communicated with was pleasant and made genuine efforts to be helpful.

The main room serving as the bedroom and living room lacks storage space. The size of the dining room is okay but the space called kitchen is near non-existent with a sink and a small strip of counter space with a small portable cooktop on it. It seriously lacks the proper kitchenware and dinnerware to make it functional to do any cooking, maybe just a bowl of instant noodles. The bathroom is small though water flow in the shower was adequate. All in all, this apartment is only okay for a short stay of one or two nights when you don't need to cook. As the kitchen is not really equipped for a longer stay. The lack of a second bed or a sofa bed makes this place only suitable for a couple and it needs more quilts to make it the sleeping comfortable. With the cooktop sits directly under the main heating unit that uses natural gas makes the entire unit a hazardous environment. When we checked in, the towels laid on the bed were still damp. It didn't seem there were spare, towels, beddings and linen sheets to replace the used ones in between the use of the guests. This is particularly concerning in the current pandemic environment where sanitation needs should be paramount. Also, there's no hooks to hang your towels on any of the walls.

de locatie midden in het centrum het appartement is mooi karakteristiek het appartement is heel erg ruim begane grond, super makkelijk heel goed bed goede regelbare verwarming goede douche

er zaten luiken voor de ramen die gesloten waren, dus er was geen echt daglicht, en het tochtte. geen schone vaat en bestek, ook de kast waarin het stond was niet schoon. ik heb alles afgewassen voor gebruik. dit ligt natuurlijk aan de vorige huurders die het niet schoon achterlaten, maar dat zou gecontroleerd moeten worden. er zaten vlekken op de stoelen . tegels los in de badkamer

Not recommended – in fact, please never book this. La posizione è buona solo in centro città. Non vale la pena prenotare. Non lo consiglio, anzi, vi prego di non prenotare mai qui. L'emplacement est correct uniquement en centre-ville. Ne réservez pas ! À éviter absolument.

Wenn die Betten nicht sauber sind und haben keine frische Bettwäsche, kann man das Apartment nicht nutzen. Wir haben das sofort storniert und Gastgeber hat uns kein Euro zurückgegeben. Das ist sehr unprofessionell und wurde ich keinen weiter empfählen. Bitte nie diese Apartment buchen, weil Sie werden Geld verlieren. Sie hören auch alles Wasserfluss in Leitung, weil die Gebäude sehr alt ist und man kann gar nicht dort schlafen. If the beds aren't clean and don't have fresh linens, you can't use the apartment. We canceled immediately, and the host didn't refund us a single euro. This is very unprofessional, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Please never book this apartment because you will lose money. You can also hear water running in the pipes because the building is very old, and it's impossible to sleep there. Si sente anche l'acqua che scorre nelle tubature perché l'edificio è molto vecchio ed è impossibile dormirci. Si les lits ne sont pas propres et que les draps ne sont pas changés, l'appartement est inutilisable. Nous avons annulé immédiatement et l'hôte ne nous a pas remboursés. C'est un manque de professionnalisme flagrant et je déconseille fortement cet appartement. Ne le réservez surtout pas, vous perdrez votre argent. De plus, on entend des fuites d'eau dans les canalisations, car l'immeuble est très ancien, et il est impossible d'y dormir.

Séjour familial très agréable et logement pratique en plein cœur de Metz.

Nous avions l’appartement du 3e étage. La localisation est vraiment géniale, très centrale pour visiter Metz, et aller à la gare. Tout peut se faire à pied. Il y a également pas mal de stationnements autour si besoin d’une voiture. L’appartement est plutôt calme. J’ai aussi beaucoup apprécié le fait qu’il y ait plusieurs appartements dans le même immeuble, nous avons donc plu louer au même endroit avec ma famille, tout en ayant chacun son espace. Les appartements sont confortables, avec le nécessaire de base. Il y’a même machine à laver, fer à repasser… Le système de clés avec boîtier est super pratique également.

Nous étions en plein mois d’août, avec des températures très élevées par rapport à la normale pour Metz, et dans l’appartement du dernier étage, nous avons souffert de la chaleur, malgré les ventilateurs fournis. Le reste des appartements est plus frais et à privilégier en plein été :)

Charmanter Altbau mit bequemen Bett. Ein paar Verbesserungen sollten umgesetzt werden.

Netter Altbau, ein sehr bequemes Bett, Appartement war mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Die Lage zum Zentrum war spitze.

Ich hätte der Beschreibung der Unterkunft gerne vorher entnommen, dass die Gastherme zum Warmwasser erhitzen im Schlafzimmer ist und regelmäßig Geräusche macht. Wir sind damit zurecht gekommen, aber gewusst hätte ich es gerne vorher. Das Geschirr soll gespült werden, was ich durchaus berechtigt finde. Dafür sollten dann aber (bessere) Utensilien zur Verfügung gestellt und auch das gespülte Geschirr der Vormieter kontrolliert werden. Neuere Handtücher wären auch schön gewesen. Diese Verbesserungen sollten mindestens umgesetzt werden, sonst stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr.
