Stunning apartment overlooking Metz Cathedral

Beautiful studio apartment overlooking the Metz Cathedral. Very well-appointed with a nice kitchenette and even a washer/dryer combo. The view and large windows were absolutely lovely. Our dog was allowed; however, the rules for a pet are a bit restrictive. Just something to note and communicate with the host about. Check-in was extremely easy. Also, the public parking is very near the apartment - just 2-3 min away walking.

While the apartment was stunning and in a perfect location, the bed was absolutely rock hard. My bones hurt after sleeping on it. We didn't hear from the host despite contacting a few times; but fortunately were able to connect with him before check in.

Great location and comfortable apartment in the heart of Metz!

The location and proximity to all the sights and local bars and restaurants was really excellent. The apartment, while compact, was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed having a glass of wine and looking out over the cathedral and local bars and restaurants.

It is above and next to busy bars and restaurants, so might not be ideal if you are looking for peace and quiet. The double glazed windows do help with the noise.

Worthwhile to come back

Nice apartment, lot of windows, beautiful wooden ceiling, a good balance between the monumental aspects and the modern additions. Location perfect: in the middle of the town and in the middle of the restaurant- and nightlife area.

Great, cozy, pleasant stay in the heart of a beautiful little city.

Location is amazing. Apartment is very nice and cozy. Has everything you need for a weekend stay.

The air can get a bit hot and damp. Opening the windows means a lot of flies will cohabit with you. Solved it by buying some anti-flies products. Perhaps these could be provided by default. The provided fan did help a lot at night though. Ideally, a system of nets could be installed for at least 1 window (you can find temporary nets for 8eur) so that at least 1 window can be kept open at all times.

An amazing stay overall...cannot recommend enough for couples passing through Metz.

The apartment is perfect for two...beautifully decorated with an amazing view of a main square in Metz. Location was ideal with most restaurants/bars/cafes within a fifteen minute walk and some right outside the street entrance.

My only complaint was noise coming from the bar downstairs, but not enough to prevent you from sleeping.

Heerlijk slapen in Middeleeuws Metz!

Locatie was geweldig, ingeklemd tussen de rivier en de kathedraal, naast cafe's en restaurants. Ook de smaakvolle inrichting en het comfortabele bed maakten het verblijf tot een feestje! En extra meevaller is dat de studio zich niet op de 3e verdieping bevindt zoals vermeld op de site maar op de 2e. Toch fijn als je minder goed ter been bent.

De leeftijd van het middeleeuwse pand maakt dat het wel gehorig is tussen de etages. Maar het zicht op het prachtige originele balkenplafond maakt veel goed.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem geschmackvoll eingerichteten Apartment

Das Appartmenr liegt sehr nahe an der Kathedrale von Metz, man hat eine schöne Aussicht auf die Kathedrale und auf den Platz. Das Appartment ist in einem historischen Gebäude, das sich zwar noch in der Renovierung befindet, das Appartment ist jedoch schon sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll renoviert. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt, mit großer Sorgfalt und Geschmack eingerichtet. Durch die fünf Fenstern ist der Aufenthalt wunderbar hell und freundlich und man kann herrlich das Treiben auf dem Platz beobachten.

Es gibt in Metz eine Rue du Roche und eine Rue du Pont Roche nahe beieinander, das hat unsere Navigation verwirrt und uns zum falschen Haus geleitet.

Très grande amabilité et disponibilité du propriétaire.

Nous avons un un problème de fuite de la douche. Le propriétaire à immédiatement résolu le problème. En définitive, ce problème (ça peut arriver) a surtout témoigné de la qualité du propriétaire. Il ne doit pas pénaliser la note.

Studio de charme au coeur de Metz

Logement impeccable, plein de charme, rénové et décoré avec goût. Explications claires du propriétaire pour y accéder. Situation idéale juste à côté de la Cathédrale pour visiter la ville à pied et profiter de bars, restau et commerces à proximité.

L'absence de parking si vous avez un véhicule et des vélos. Le parking couvert Comédie se trouve néanmoins à 5 min au tarif de 16€/24h. L'entrée de l'immeuble ne paie pas de mine mais une fois dans le studio, c'est top !

Heel fijn appartement in down town Metz. Parking op 1 minuut lopen.

Geluid van boven buren. Die hebben duidelijk een andere dag en nachtritme. Vloer is zeer gehorig anders hadden wij een 10 gegeven.

Veel geluidsoverlast van bovenliggend appartement. Iedere beweging op de bovenliggende vloer zorgt voor krakend geluid. Google Maps heeft probleem om deze locatie te vinden.

Prachtige loft op een top locatie in Metz. Alles is zeer nieuw, proper en ruim. Hond was ook welkom had meer dan voldoende ruimte om er te verblijven.

Perfekte und zentrale Unterkunft für einen Besuch in Metz

Das Apartment liegt super zentral mit Blick auf die Kathedrale. Wir haben im Parkhaus Comédie Théatre geparkt, der Tag kostet aktuell 15,90€. Man ist in 2 Min zu Fuß bei der Unterkunft. Vor der Ankunft haben wir den Code für die Haustür und den Schlüsselsafe bekommen. Das Apartment ist große und gemütlich. Es gibt sogar eine komplett ausgestattete Küche. Wir haben im Le Corner Coffee gefrühstückt, das in 5 Min zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Zum Abendessen kann man das L'Eveil empfehlen, liegt quasi direkt unter dem Apartment. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall mal wieder.

Wir haben es geliebt!

Ein fantastisches Appartement! Lage: eine Minute zur Mosel, zum Theater und zum Marché couvert, anderhalb Minuten zur Kathedrale, Parkhaus Théâtre-Comédie zwei Minuten (alle Angaben: zu Fuß). Sehr schöne Einrichtung in einer Wohnung mit alter Holzbalken-Decke, es ist an alles gedacht! Metz lohnt einen Aufenthalt unbedingt. Musée La Cour d‘Or und Centre Pompidou-Metz sind jeweils allein schon die Reise wert. Überall nette kleine Restaurants, Cafés und Bars, viele kleine Geschäfte. Viele Kirchen mit besonderen Glasfenstern, u.a. Chagall in der Kathedrale. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Perfekt für einen Wochenendaufenthalt, wenn man bei schönem Wetter nciht lärmempfindlich ist.

Die Lage ist an der Kathedrale ist optimal zum Erreichen vieler schöner und guter Restaurants sowie der Fußgängerzone. Das Apartment im 1. Stock liegt jedch unmittellbar neben einer Kneipe/Bar, die von Freitag bis Sonntag bis 02:00 h geöffnet hat und die Leute halten sich auf der Straße unter den Fenstern des Apartments auf. Wenn dann noch Sportübertragungen hinzukommen, ist es lange sehr laut. Die Fenster schließen allerdings sehr gut.

Die beste Unterkunft auf unserem Frankreich Trip. Da kam nur noch das 4 Sterne Hotel mit. Sehr schön eingerichtet und ausgestattet 👍. Perfekte Lage. Keine Klima aber Ventilator. Nicht riesig aber vollkommen ausreichend für 2.

Absolut empfehlenswert

Super Lage mitten in der Altstadt, sämtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. Parkhaus in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden. Ideal für einen kurzen Besuch der interessanten Stadt.

Direkt vor dem Haus liegen die wahrscheinlich angesagtesten Kneipen/Clubs der Stadt. Könnte natürlich für jüngere Besucher das Highlight schlechthin sein. Hat uns älteren Semestern aber wenig ausgemacht ;-)
