Second séjour sur la Peniche Ma pensée. On se sent chez soi, hors du temps dans un cadre apaisant avec les cygnes qui longent le canal et que vous observez à travers le hublot de la pièce principale. La terrasse est superbe pour prendre l'apéro en fin de journée. Le centre ville et la Cathédrale sont à 20 minutes à pied le long des berges du plan d'eau et du port de plaisance, idéal et en toute sécurité sans rencontrer de voitures. Une vraie pause estivale.
Vivre en péniche c'est aussi accepter que l'eau ne soit pas propre à la consommation, donc prévoir des bouteilles d'eau pour le brossage des dents. Mais il y a aussi des carafes filtrantes disponible. Un faible débit d'eau cependant.

Mooie locatie om een korte periode te verblijven op de boot. Van daaruit kan je gemakkelijk te voet de stad gaan bezoeken. Ook vele restaurantjes en bakkerijen in de buurt.
De foto’s gaven niet de werkelijke grootte weer wat echt tegenviel. Ook al is de cabine goed voorzien (keukengerief ok, beddengoed ok, douche ok) viel de hygiëne echt tegen. Op het dek was er niet opgeruimd, binnen lag veel stof en het gordijn naar de ‘badkamer’ moet dringend gewassen worden. Dit zou echt al een groot verschil maken. De eigenaar is wel vlug in het oplossen van een probleem. Dat mag ook gezegd worden.
