My family and I had a very comfortable stay at Le Vauban.

The location was very good because it was a short walking distance from the train station and near the shopping centre. The apartment was very clean and spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. It was also close to the bus stop and some restaurants and a short walk to the town centre.

Because it was so close to the town centre when you opened the window you could hear the cars go by and there were some road works going on outside the apartment so it was a little noisy in the morning but not too bad.

Recommended

I liked the location nearby the station and the center. Took about 15mins to get there. That meant we could leave the car at the included parking area (costsaver!) and walk. When we arrived I did have some difficulties finding the parking area. There is a description with some pictures, but I still didn't really get it. It was just across the street at a higher level and needs to be accessed be taking a left upwards, just before the water tower and driving under the bridge The apartment itself was spacious, with a nice stylistic mix of modern and classic. All appliances were recent and good in use. With a small baby, the washing machine came in handy. .

It could be noisy with the cars passing by and it can get hot. The second issue can reinforce the first by opening windows...

Horrible

once in my life experience. Too pricy for what I get. There is no wifi found and no way to contact the landlord in person, no reply with the message and the telephone is answered by machine all the time. Entering the bedroom, you will find it is at the cornor with two sides facing the street, very noisy with cars roaring around, and weirdly they put two dirty and one even broken chair in the room, suddenly you feel so horrible in an old-style atmosphere like this. First time I got required to clean up everything before leaving otherwise your deposit is gone, and to see the dirty forks in the drawer, I really regret why not pick a hotel. In short, it is not a spot to stay overnight.

Grand, bien situé. Pratique et accessible. Le séjour était agréable. Nous avons pu visiter Metz à pieds et ses alentours en voiture. C’était facile d’accès, et le parking est un vrai plus pour le logement. En bref, tout est accessible à pieds. Et l’appartement est très agréable, avec un très bo confort

Le seul point négatif, c’est le bruit de la circulation malgré les fenêtres fermées, mais nous sommes en ville. Proche d’une rue passante, c’est très acceptable en terme de bruit compte tenu du vitrage.

Goede locatie, goed appartement, maar ...

Het appartement is prima gelegen, dicht bij het centrum. De inrichting (zie foto's) is goed, de douche is dat ook en de keuken ook. Al met al een prima appartement. Het appartement is een soort omgekeerde escape-room. Zorg ervoor dat je de filmpjes hebt gezien voor je afreist.

Het appartement ligt op de 'ring' van Metz, een belangrijke verkeersweg. Buiten rijden de auto's (hard) voorbij en het klinkt alsof ze in je kamer komen. Datzelfde geldt voor mensen die langslopen. Alles is prima, maar niet zorgvuldig en niet met zorg uitgevoerd. Er liggen 5 folders op tafel, waarvan er vier over Nancy gaan. Van drie lampen waren er geen corresponderende schakelaars, dat was alleen in de keuken onhandig. De kussens waren te veel dun en vlokkerig. We bleven er vijf nachten en er waren drie cupjes koffie, allemaal over de datum. En natuurlijk stond er geen fles champagne op ons te wachten, maar waarom dan die foto?

Wij hebben een uitstekend verblijf gehad voor een city trip in Metz

De locatie was uitstekend, dichtbij het oude en nieuwe centrum. Gratis parkeren bij de accommodatie door de eigenaar. De ruimte was mooi van het appartement, het bed sliep goed. Alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig in de keuken.

Mooi klassiek appartment centraal gelegen

Zeer ruim klassiek appartement met een groot tweepersoons bed. Wc apart van de badkamer.

Geluid van het verkeer. Er leek een probleem te zijn met de automatische rolluiken in de slaapkamer.

Appartement très agréable, bien situé, bien équipé et lumineux.

La proximité de la gare et du centre ville, l'espace du logement, les nombreux équipements (notamment la machine à laver, le fer à repasser et le congélateur).

La propreté : la porte de la cabine de douche n'avait pas été nettoyée et le sol dans le séjour était collant à plusieurs endroits. A notre arrivée, il manquait les draps pour le canapé lit (problème vite résolu après appel au contact rock in share). L'appartement, au rez de chaussée, donne directement sur le trottoir et une route très passante, donc très bruyant en journée, mais ça allait la nuit.

Bel appartement propre et bien agencé avec une bonne situation géographique.

La télévision est compliquée à mettre en service avec ses télécommandes dont une qui ne fonctionne pas facilement.

Super mais revoir le ménage.

Très bel appartement, hyper pratique d'accès avec les codes et portes automatiques, super emplacement près de la gare et du centre.

Le ménage n'était pas bien fait : des tâches de crasses sur les plaintes et de la poussière et surtout l'évier et la douche de la salle de bain complètement bouchés (cheveux et autres) donc écoulement difficile et donc crasse des douches précédentes qui s'accumule. Il aurait été appréciable d'avoir plus de papier toilette et de café à disposition (deux capsules pour 4 et 2 rouleaux de papier toilette pour un séjour de 3 jours pr 4 personnes... pas assez long pr aller faire des courses mais bien assez pour se retrouver à court très vite).

Metz Ok, Unterkunft Flop.

Nähe zur Innenstadt und den Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Alles, schrecklich. Direkt an einer Hautverkehrsstrasse, in Parterre am Bürgersteig mit bodentiefen Fenstern. Man konnte die Rolläden daher nicht öffnen, da hätte die Passanten direkt hineinschauen können. Die eigentlichen Probleme fingen aber bereits vorher an. Eine nochmalige Voranmeldung neben Booking.com fanden wir befremdlich. Man musste Ausweiskopie im Netz versenden um an ein Booklett zu gelangen in dem man dann erfuhr, wie man zur Adresse und zum Schlüssel gelangt. Dieser war dann auf der anderen Straßenseite in einem Minisafe an einem Gitter hinterlegt. Dazu benötigte man einen Code. Das alles im strömenden Regen und im Dunkeln mit Gepäck. Die offerierte Parkmöglichkeit funktionierte überhaupt nicht, wie mussten uns selber organisieren und bezahlen. Dies entsprach nicht dem Angebot, weshalb wir die Gebühren zurückfordern werden. Kurzum, nie wieder.
