Well equipped flat with awesome view to the cathedral.

Luggage of 4 persons has to be carried as no access by car is possible. Strange smell when entering the building (but not the flat)

We enjoyed our stay in Christine’s apartment very much, it is it located in the Center of the city facing the Place Saint Jacques with a view to the cathedral. Fortunately the bedrooms are facing a courtyard, very quiet! We will definitely come back!

Stimmungsvoll in Metz eintauchen

Man wohnt in luftiger Höhe und mit Blick auf den lebendigen Platz St. Jacques, ins Grüne und auf die Kathedrale. Das Appartment ist geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtet, ideal für die Bedürfnisse einer Familie mit Kindern und Jugendlichen. Wir waren überrascht von der guten Ausstattung der Küche, zudem gab es Bücher, Spielzeug und Prospekte. Sehr schön: farblich sortierte Handtuch-Sets, so daß man die Handtücher später nicht verwechselt. Man fühlt sich gleich zuhause. Die Lage ermöglichte uns den spontanen Gang zum nahen Patissier, mal einen kurzen unabhängigen Kaffee oder Aperitiv auf dem Platz ohne Kind sowie auch gesellige Familien-Abende im Wohn-Essbereich. Die Vermieterin war jederzeit über Mail erreichbar und der Check-in klappte mit ihren Informationen gut.

Uns hat alles gefallen. Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Ablagefläche im Bad, z. B. ein Board wäre gut, damit jeder seine wichtigsten Utensilien abstellen kann, und vielleicht eine Bedienungsanleitung für den Ofen. Man ist in der Fußgängerzone, von dem Parkplatz St. Jacques aus braucht es einen kurzen Fußweg, wo man sein Gepäck transportieren muß.
