Phoenix Gulf Shores 1704
See truly amazing views. Phoenix Gulf Shores 1704 is an east corner unit directly overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Through the side wall of floor-to-ceiling windows you see all the way down the beach to the east. See the amazing sunrise in the morning, the beach and water all day long, and the lights of "metropolitan" Gulf Shores after dark. It's impressive.
By design, PGS 1704 is rented sparingly. It typically requires a minimum 6-night stay in an effort to limit turnover and, thus, wear and tear. In all of 2025, it was rented only 89 nights by a total of 12 rental parties. That's over seven nights per stay AVERAGE. Owners visit regularly to see to cleaning, maintenance, and upgrades. Already in 2026, the original door knobs have been replaced by easy-to-use lever door handles, and the king bed in the second bedroom received a new box spring. PGS 1704 is truly a quality unit.
At almost 2,000 sq ft, there is plenty of room for your family, or your getaway with friends. Unit 1704 offers four bedrooms, three full baths, and NO carpet. It offers a keyless entry door lock for convenience, and full-size appliances, including washer/dryer in the laundry closet. The master bedroom has a king bed and a 48" TV. The second bedroom has a king bed and a 40" TV. The other two bedrooms each contain two queen beds and a 40" TV. With two king beds and four queens, PGS 1704 sleeps 12 in all.
There is an awesome zero entry outdoor pool with a water slide, heated in-door swimming pool, two Jacuzzi's, state-of-the-art fitness center overlooking the Gulf, BBQ Grills, and a tennis court.
There is a 25 year old minimum age limit to reserve the unit which will be enforced with no refund for violation.

The check in process was seamless. The condo and property itself is very clean and the amenities were wonderful! My only complaint. A very small one. There was no broom or vacuum in our condo so I could keep up with all the crumbs and sand! Again. A small complaint from a type A person!

The Phoenix is a nice property. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The unit however had numerous issues. Upon arrival the master tub had hair in it and a ring around it so it had to be cleaned prior to use and all the floors were covered in black sludge. The stove handle was broken, the ice maker leaked, the beds were uncomfortable and the furniture was extremely worn. Pictures are deceiving on layout. Our family owns and rents a condo on the beach and do not consider any of these things acceptable - especially for the price. One positive is the phenomenal view. Unless owner makes immense changes we would not rent this particular unit again.
