Nice shared rooms in Reine

Very clean house, with well decorated room and shared bathroom. Big shared spaces (with a small kitchenette). Free yoga lessons for the guests.

Sauna was closed, but there was no mention of it. It’s a shame because it was one of the reason we booked there.

Think it is the best place to stay in Reine

Spacious common areas , comfortable to hangout in the evenings. Lot of space for parking , and at the back for sitting in the sun, jacuzzi or just soaking in the iconic Reine view of the mountains and the bridges. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Specially Anne and Jacob who always had a detailed background story and was really good fun to hangout with in the evenings and have conversations about anything and everything. The location of the property is ideal , close to a grocery , gas station and couple of restaurants.

Only one shared bathroom on the first floor with the rooms . Rest ( ample ) are in the basement , but are ample in numbers and very modern and were always available and clean.

Perfect place to stay and a good base for the surrounding walks and activities.

Position perfect. Felt right at home. Nice dining area and lounge. Deck area was a relaxing place to enjoy a drink. Lovely staff. Clean and good facilities. We particularly enjoyed the kayaking trip organised by this accommodation.

Nothing. The kitchen was tiny but had everything we needed to prepare simple meals and there was a fridge for the guests food.

Excellent location directly in Reine, ideally for hiking Reinebringen. Very friendly owner and staff, cozy room. Lots of communal space available for hanging out, including a (very small) kitchen for cooking your own (simple) meals.

The kitchen really is tiny. That being said, I only had to wait once (for about 15-20 min.) in four days for being able to use it.

It's is so beautiful and perfected to tiniest details. Very comfortable beds, cozy and warm room, beautiful dining area and sitting room. Unfortunately we stayed only two nights so didn't have to experience the sauna and offered activities. Perfect location - village shop is nearby and Reinebringen hike is within a walking distance if you plan to do Lofoten on foot.

Friendly stuff, but sauna and jacuzzi not working

Friendly stuff, great location

I booked the appartment mainly for the sauna, jacuzzi and also mediation class. The sauna and jacuzzi are not working due to a storm. There was no notice upfront. I wanted to do the meditation class and that day the teacher was off. The kitchen is very small and I just found one fork. The room was not good isolated. So you could hear the neighbors talking. I adressed it to the owner and go no reaction.

Relaxing moments at the Lofoten

Awesome place to stay, relax and be active. The view from the building is stunning no matter which direction. The whole house is newly renovated with incredible style. The staff working there is super friendly. I even was allowed to join a private gym session :) thank you so much!

Accommodations with character. Amazing views of the fjords.

This place has character. From the yoga studio to the cool old staircase to the rooms themselves. Expect more hostel style rooms, but they are charming and the views are amazing. The sauna was a nice treat after hiking the Reinebringen. Conveniently located to the few restaurants in Reine, about 2-5 minute walk. The staff was accommodating.

We passed on kayaking as the price seemed a tad to high for us. The sauna was well worth it but just know it and the hot tub are an additional fee.

It’s a wonderful experience to stay in Catogården of our last day in Lofoten. The house is nice and neat, and the host a

comfortable living / public spaces, fantastic gym, and wonderful yoga lesson for the morning wake up.

BEST STAY IN LOFOTEN

We really adored this place. Runhild is a lovely host and has created such a nice place, you feel completely at home as soon as you walk in. Our bedroom was great with a gorgeous view, the shared bathroom is very nice and we were lucky as there wasn't many guests when we stayed over. The house is big and comfy, a lovely living room area to get coffee/tea (with a proper coffee machine which is important to point out), the 'gym' area is simply splendid, there is anything you can think of to work out, practice yoga, meditate and the view from the gym in amazing. Then there is a big dining room area with a little shop if you need anything else. Products are good quality and organics. This place really feels like a nice cosy home in a superb location I really wished we had stayed longer.
