Lofoten Å Hostel

Loved everything about it, small and cosy. Very warm athmosphere.

Really nice location and the bed was really comfortable. The staff who helped me was super nice

Kitchen is small and you need to eat in the room. There is not a lot of common areas. Only 2 toilets and 2 showers for 6 rooms with 4 people each

It was a cozy hostel , right on the water, in a very old , historical , fishing village.Lovely bakery nearby and a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Walkable from the ferry but narrow roads and hills.

No common area to eat and relax in. Kitchen very small but well equipped. Though there was a table, chairs and couch , in the dorm room, it wasn’t ideal for people who want to go to sleep or get up early , or those that want to go to bed and get up later etc . Others in a dorm were packing their backpacks in the corridor at 8 am to avoid disturbing others in their dorm. I felt obligated to eat outside the room for dinner and breakfast. Not the hostel’s fault …. but transportation is a huge problem if you are not self driving. Had to wait an hour and a half for a bus from the ferry to A and only one bus the next day to Reine but no bus to meet the afternoon ferry returning to Bodø!!??

The position and the room was nice.

It wasn’t clean, you need to do your one bed and there’s no staff.
