Unfortunately I could never recommend this as a place to stay, for anyone, on any budget. The setting was beautiful, but that is down to the beauty of Lofoten. The building did have a certain amount of charm, being from the period that it is. BUT there is a general feeling of a lack of maintenance by the owners, e.g. No-one who was there at the same time as us could coax one of the two ovens into life, and there were no instructions on how to operate either, and no sign of a main switch and no sight of the owners. The showers I took flooded the shower room, a sure sign that the drains were clogged with god knows what. But the real problem, that the owners tried to pass off as "quirkiness" was the noise from the floors above us - it sounded like someone was permanently exercising on a pogo stick above us, and their compatriots were in the rooms on either side. A real shame as the place clearly has a lot of potential in many respects.

Nous avons été surclassé car arrivage tardif, nous avons eu un peu de mal à trouver MAIS l'hôte est venu à notre rencontre, très sympathique. Logement typique des îles Lofoten.

Pittoresque et agréable

Cette auberge de jeunesse est au cœur du village de Å! Juste fabuleux ! Les rorbuers rouges ,les mouettes,tout y est! La boulangerie avec feu de bois est divine ! Pains et viennoiseries à tomber par terre!! La cuisine est très bien équipée. Salon ou terrasse disponible également. Douches et toilettes propres. Établissement pittoresque. Nous avons pu échanger avec d'autres voyageurs. Vraiment très sympa! Je recommande !

Jolie chambre dans une auberge située dans un village incontournable des îles Lofoten

Jolie chambre dans une auberge agréable, bien équipée et située dans un village qu'il faut absolument visiter quand on vient aux îles Lofoten. Les sanitaires partagés étaient propres et accessibles facilement (pas beaucoup d'attente malgré la fréquentation élevée de l'auberge). La cuisine partagée était très bien équipée, et il était facile de cuisiner au milieu d'autres voyageurs sans se gêner.

Espace un peu limité pour une famille de 3 personnes (peu de place pour ranger ses affaires, on se marche un peu les uns sur les autres).

Å er verdt besøket absolutt , men jeg ville holdt meg unna dette huset.

Stedet har 1 varmtvannsbereder på 200 liter , minst 2 gjester pr rom og til sammen 9 rom . 2 dagers inntekts på utleie for innkjøp av en bereder ekstra synes jeg eier bør kunne unne gjestene sine . Jeg hadde to kalde dusjer under oppholdet på 2 dager , kona fikk EN varm en.. Det burde vært anmeldt , dette kan umulig være iht forskrifter .

Maison dotée d'une âme pour un seéour plein de charme au cœur du village.

Maison du xix ème dans son jus. Sanitaires collectifs impeccables, cuisine très bien équipée. Pièces communes très agréables.

Accès difficile au 2eme étage et aux WC communs au 1er étage. Le bruit notamment des mouettes qui nichent sous la fenêtre, mais on était prévenus et on avait des boules Quies.
