Secluded location. New and spotless !

Spotless clean. Shared living with kitchen was a great plus. It allowed us to have dinner on a snowy evening, and saved having to dine out in the snowfall. Comfortable matresses with warm duvet !

A Great place to rest

We had a great stay at Lofoten Overnatting guesthouse. The accommodation and the shared sanitary facilities were very clean and the shower was great! The kitchen is well equipped and It's 5 minute walk from a supermarket. We slept in the bedroom adjacent to the shared living room/kitchen. Our (Dutch) roomies who occupied the other room (that has a bit more privacy because it is not attached to the living room) were great company. Erik, the owner of the guesthouse, was very helpful to us and he is super informed about developments taking place in Norway and Lofoten. An intelligent and hospitable host. Highly recommended! Lastly, Ballstad is a nice place. Excellent location for an evening stroll.

The living room / kitchen area is very nice (only shared with one other double room) and we enjoyed dinner with mountain view. The shower is great, everything is very clean and even laundry would have been included. The owner is superfriendly, very helpful and allowed us to hang our soaked tent outside.

Bellissima casa, eravamo al piano terra-seminterrato della casa dell'host, veramente molto bella e cura, pulita, con una grandissima cucina in comune (in comune a due stanze) grande e con tutte le dotazioni. L'Host è stato veramente gentilissimo e disponibile.

Super für einen längeren Aufenthalt

Gut ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche, mit allem was man braucht. Man teilt sich Wohnküche und Bad nur mit einem weiteren Zimmer. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine und Wäscheständer im Badezimmer und das wird auch so beheizt, dass die Wäsche schnell trocknet. Man kann auch Fahrräder (normal & E-Bikes) über die Unterkunft mieten - allerdings muss man dafür nach Leknes fahren. Eric ist aber sehr entspannt und entgegenkommend, was die Abhol- und Rückgabezeiten angeht und wir wurden sogar extra mit dem Auto zum Hafen gefahren, weil dort die zwei reservierten Räder standen und wir mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gereist sind - danke nochmal dafür! Supermarkt ist nur 2 min entfernt (ich kann die Moltebeerenmarmelade empfehlen :D), genauso wie die Bushaltestelle (man sollte nur genau schauen, wann der Bus fährt). Sehr schöner Ausblick von der Unterkunft.

Ein paar mehr Haken für Jacken/Handtücher wären super, aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau.

Gute, günstige Übernachtungsmöglichkeit

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, gute Erreichbarkeit des Gastgebers. Das Bad war groß und sehr gut beheizt. Waschmaschine war da, auch was zum Aufhängen. Küche gut ausgestattet. Die beiden Gästezimmer liegen räumlich weit auseinander, dass man sich nicht gegenseitig stört. Parkplatz vor der Tür, self Check-in unkompliziert. Bettzeug ganz neu, alles sehr sauber.

Die Matratzen waren sehr weich. Geschmackssache.
