Great place in the town centre

Great location, in the walking range of the bus station and everything important Comfy bed Kind hosts I only planned to leave my luggage a few hours before the check in but they let me check in early Well equipped kitchen

Some guests left hair in the shower (I do not think the host can do much about it though, maybe put up a sign)

A heaven for hikers! Perfect place for a break, close to city and great value for money!

This place is super close to city center, its very light upstairs and has everything you need when travelling.

The only thing I can point out it the critters roaming around in the bathroom lamp, and a little dust behind the doors. Otherwise very nice and clean!

Walkable to downtown. No issues with access to the shared bathroom/shower. Easy check in!

Just be aware it's a shared bathroom and shower for each floor. Beds are not together (if traveling with a partner) and linens are itchy.

Overall OK for one night, might not offer best sleep for more.

The location was great, and the room was alright. The (shared) shower had great water pressure, the shared facilities were clean. Shops and the center are within walking distance.

The room offered no noise isolation from the smart lock immediately outside the door, so we got woken up by people leaving the house starting after 5am. The room also had non-interconnected blinds, meaning it offered little shading to sleep (also, a feeling of lacking privacy). We solved this by hanging a towel from a coat rack, but this shouldn't be necessary.

Location and nice living room and specially the well furnished and good kitchen that's so important in ridiculously expensive Norway!

Good option in Svolvaear

Great Location Got all the things you need (kitchen, large living room area, TV and one shower/bathroom per floor which imo was enough) Bed was good enough to get a decent night of sleep Staff very friendly aswell

As other Reviews have mentioned, it can be a bit noisy so you're kind of dependent on your fellow travelling roommates common sense and behaviour. Fortunately during my time, there were no issues with anyone.

Beautiful well equipped property shared with just a few guests

Well equipped shared kitchen with oven, hobs, fridge, and and plenty of dining space for the 5 rooms on the accommodation. Free self-service laundry. Decent size room with balcony and storage. Lounge with good views and midnight daylight. Easy automated check on and good communication from staff. Conveniently located short distance from centr, shops bus stops, harbour. Immaculately clean, with no shoes allowed inside.

Price - but good for Lofoten. No shoes hard on flat feet.

The location is good, there's everything necessary in the kitchen.

There should some kind of sign Lofoten Villa above the front door. And its not a villa, its a hostel. Its a home, where too big lounge, not necessary at all and 3 bedrooms for 6 people are SO close together, with awfully sqreaky doors and beds and the corridoor between them 70 cm and common toilet and shower close to them. And you should put on the bed linen yourself at night. Isn't it a hostel?

Tiny room, had hanging space but no hangers, nowhere to put motorcycle kit except the floor. Took multiple attempts to get the oven to work, even when the owner turned up & tried! Shower worked OK, was in the utility room. I my opinion it's more of a hostel.

we booked this place last minute because we were supposed to camp and the weather was horrible. the host was very responsive and explained everything even though it was already late. the place was super clean and cozy. had a kitchen and all you need.

Dont sleep next to the bathroom. All guests have to use one toilet and everyone is getting in and out all night, making lots of noise

Cooking area and laundry.

It is the house and we feel that the room on the 2d floor is quite near the living area. Even though there is a door between the sleeping area and living area, it didn't feel much privacy when there are a lot of people drinking in the living area. It could be very good to stay on the 1st floor.

Perfect choice for a quick stay in Svolvær

Excellent service from the staff and good maintained place, everything neatly arranged so you have an easy time keeping clean after yourself. It is not a location to go and relax for a week, unless you book all the rooms for you and your family. But as some non pretentious nights for people who enjoy walking few extra mins from the city center, it was perfect and lovely. I was offered to borrow a bike, and the outside sitting area was just lovely too. Would surely use again if I'd spend a couple of nights in Svolvær

The bed is more comfy than my own!

The bed is so comfortable and the doona covers and pillow cases soft and silky. Although the room is small lots of attention has gone into the features - plenty of hooks and also a cupboard to store your things. The kitchen is very well appointed with lots of equipment. Everything is super clean!

The walls are quite thin so you hear your neighbours. Luckily everyone went to bed and got up about the same time when we were there so no trouble at all

Location is very good. Kitechen, drawing-dining arena and rooms were really good and perfect. The landlord was extremely friendly and met us immediately once we contacted him for some difficulties.

The ventillation in the bathroom and toilet at the ground floor needs to be improved drastically. Sometimes due to dampness, it smells bad. Please take necessary steps.

Great place to stay!

Very spacious, comfortable and cozy place to stay in. Everything you need is available and very friendly people running the place if there is anything else you might need. A short walk to the ferry and bus stop and other parts of town. We had a great stay :) We will come back again next time we are in town!

Easy check-in and check-out with good instructions from our host. The room was very clean and comfortable ! The kitchen was big and well equiped. Free Parking on property. All in all it was a good experience that for sure deserves more then a 7.9 rating but for some reason, booking just set this rating and doesn't allow me to change it. We would have given it an 8.5.

The walls were a bit thin, so being in a room downstairs, we heard each step the people on the first floor took and we had the noise of the washing machine/tumbler.

Wonderful stay

Our host was so welcoming, you wouldn’t have a better start in lofoten than here. Very confortable bed, the house is equipped with everything you need. You can go anywhere in Svolvær and around to hike, Kenneth let us use his bikes for free and showed us where to go. And there is a lovely balcony and a beautiful garden.
