Very basic room accommodations with shared shower and bathroom were okay, but the hotel breakfast and private sauna expe

Amazing breakfast provided by the hotel and the sauna all to ourselves was lovely. The shared showers were clean, the rooms clean as well.

The room was very basic, it would have been nice to have 2 chairs for 2 people in that room (2 bed room). The shared bathroom was a little dirty in the morning and the beds could have been a bit more comfy.

Excellent accommodation

Excellent location in Kabelvåg, close to Svolvær - ideally located for exploring the northern part of Lofoten. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast with large choice included in price. Guest kitchen available to prepare other meals yourself. Reasonably good curtains for blocking out the midnight sun while sleeping.

This is a great hostel! Friendly staff, good facilities - kitchen, hot showers, drying room, comfy beds. The included breakfast is fantastic - lots of choice and much of it is home made. We loved the crispbread and brownies! Location is good for walking routes and buses. Useful Co-op Extra in the village. Oh, and amazing scenery!

Dorm-style accomodation with no shampoo & need to make your own bed

Convenient location next to the E10 road and close to Henningasvaer and Festvågstind. Tasty breakfast with warm, homemade bread and brownie.

The hotel description did not reflect reality. The pictures illustrate ready-made beds, but in fact the customer is expected to make their own beds. The sheets also need to be taken out yourself at the time of check out. The hotel description also states that there are no small plastic shampoo bottles provided (which we thought would be great for environmental reasons), but please note that there is actually no shampoo at the property at all. These things should be clearly mentioned in the add as well as reflected in the price.

We arrived there by car and stayed for one night. Nice staff. Good location. Everything was clean. You get what you pay for. But the breakfast was a huge plus and quite an upgrade compared to the price, it had so many diverse and organic options.

We are thankful for a place to stay for a night.

We had a comfortable bed to sleep in, and a place to spend the night.

The property wasn’t able let individuals from the group pay for their portion of the lodging cost, and could not make an itemized receipt for each person.

Good kitchen and buffet breakfast just outside of Svolvaer

Good shared kitchen. Buffet breakfast was great, the fresh baked bread was lovely.

We went early in the season for summer and they weren’t fully ready for guests. A little confusion with things being locked or not available -like the sauna. The rooms are basic. The shared bathrooms was average.

Perfect Lofoten rest

Great place to stay in beautiful Kabelvåg. Amazing breakfast and comfy beds.

Breakfast was included - an amazing buffet of cold meats, cheeses, salmon, yoghurt, cereal, home baked breads. Student style accommodation with shared bathrooms. Wonderland beds were super comfortable. Free drinks and shuffleboard table all day. Beautiful location next to historic harbour and with mountain views.

The shared kitchen was good and would probably normally cope with multiple groups staggering their usage but became overwhelmed by a very large group of 15.

former school complex that had a very comfy corner room with great view for us.

This hotel is spread over a view former school buildings. The outside looks quite basic and might deserve a little touching up, but the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent, choice was more thans sufficient, certainly the healthy options like fruit. We hade a great room with corner window so excellent view. Ask for room 13, if you are not superstitious. Good recommendations received from the staff on nearby hikes and things to do, thanks for that!

The beds were slightly small when used as twin with a little room in between. The buildings look quite derelict on the outside and that are some buildings on the site not in use. I feel they are missing out on some growing and upcycling potential.
