A quiet place nestled among the port, the mountain, and the stockfish drying racks

Friendly staff on the phone responded to my need of the early check-in. Bus stop pretty close. Room with the view of the port, and with an usable balcony.

A bit far from the center of the town, in fact the place is at the very end of a bus line. Kitchen rather poor in utensils. A place without reception, so no luggage storage as such.

Amazing harbor view, great people.

Fantastic location, view is amazing, met some amazing people. I very strongly suggest walking down the street to rent a car as public transportation isn’t available on some days.

Modest accomdations and not as charming or confortable

Well located by the water front and close to the ferry to Nusfjord especially if you plan to take your bike there.

Small dorm accommodation, not as comfortable. The shared kitchen, dining and bathrooms were small and not well organized. No staff the be seen. The property overlooks construction on the other side of the harbor which was a bit noisy at times. I wouldn’t say it was a charming place by any means, but as a transit to other places it’s perfectly fine to stay a night.

Decent stay apart from the bathroom situation

Cosy hostel with a family house feel. Nice views. Great location and fair price. Kitchen had everything we needed.

The shared key was not inside the lockbox as advised. So the door was left unlocked so people could come in and out. I know the area must be very safe but this was still a security concern. I sent a message to the hostel about this but they didn’t respond. Also the Bathroom floor was always wet as there was no bath mat and the mop was very thin and was always soaked. Bathroom in general is old and needs an update but it did the job and was decently clean, except the shower always had a lot of hair trapped and no one seemed to clean it daily. Also Keep in mind there is only one bathroom for up to 10+ guests (toilet and shower together) so there can be a wait at times.

Ikke en god opplevelse. Vi spiste ikke frokost en gang og dro neste dag så raskt vi kunne..

Vi bodde på den første delen på et twin rom i 1.etasje under trappa. Når folk gikk opp trappa bråkte det noe helt sinnsykt og det føltes ut som folk var inne på rommet vårt. Badet var så skittent og ekkelt at ingen av oss orket å dusje der. Kjøkkenet var greit men kunne vært renere.

Schönes, komfortables Hostel das sehr zu empfehlen ist.

Die Gemeinschaftsräume und Küche waren schön eingerichtet und hell, das Bett sehr gemütlich und alles sauber. Der Balkon war super! Die Lage war zwar ohne Auto etwas schwer zu erreichen aber es gab Wanderungen in der Nähe.

Der Supermarkt bzw. Ballstad selbst war sehr weit weg aber es hat im Grunde gut gepasst.

Bon emplacement mais logement trop exigu et mal équipé pour le nombre de personnes !

L’emplacement, à Ballstad, est très bon, au bord de l’eau et proche du départ d’une très belle randonnée. Le cadre est joli, la petite terrasse agréable. Le volontaire qui gardait la petite maison était très sympathique, les autres voyageurs l’étaient aussi.

MAIS la maison était beaucoup trop petite pour le nombre de personnes qui y logeaient! Une micro-cuisine, mal équipée, une table avec 4 chaises dans une petite pièce près du dortoir, pour 10 personnes, c’est beaucoup trop peu. Une salle de bain avec un toilette pour 10 personnes ! Cette petite maison serait parfaite pour 4-5 personnes, mais à 10-11, c’est franchement exigu. (Enfin, il suffit qu’un ronfleur de compétition rejoigne le dortoir où les lits sont très proches les uns des autres pour que la nuit devienne vraiment difficile.) Dommage !

Siamo arrivati avvisando entro l'orario di check in, un ragazzo ci ha chiesto di aspettare che doveva rifare la stanza. Anche se nuovo l' ambiente manca di cura. Ho spostato il tappeto perché scivoloso sotto era meglio non spostarlo.

Parfait pour des jeunes routards en dortoir mais pas pour un couple vieillissant !

Un seul cabinet de toilette et WC inclus pour au moins 10 personnes ! Il faut prendre un ticket pour passer !!! Une chambre pour deux ridiculement petite située sous des escaliers en bois qui font énormément de bruit à chaque passage. Absence de vue .

Modernt, bra sängar och morgonsol på balkongen. Mycket trevlig sällskapsyta. Bra parkering utanför boende.

Saknade lite utrustning i köket tex stekspade. Låset till badrummet krånglade. Ganska lyhört om det bor många. Vi var där under lågsäsong så det var ok för oss.

Die lage, die Aussicht.

Es war leider dreckig, die Küche vor allem. Das Zimmer unter der Treppe ist eine Katastrophe wenn viele Gäste da sind, da fühlt man sich wie Harry Potter. Die Wände sind dünn, man kann also alles hören. für max 12 Personen ist nur ein Bad. Aufenthaltsraum und Küche ist Recht klein, wenn viele fremde Personen da sind. Draußen riecht es unangenehm durch die Ableitung.

Svinkallt på köket, matrummet och rummet vi skulle sova i. Lyhört vi hörde grannen hosta och prata. Vi hade bokat för fyra nätter men åkte därifrån efter 1 natt.
