Our stay in Norway was excellent, and the accommodation played a major role in that. We were absolutely satisfied with everything. The property was fully equipped and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful, all areas were spotlessly clean, and the location was very convenient. Despite the cold weather, the accommodation had excellent heating, including the bathroom, which made our stay very comfortable. There was also free parking, which was very practical. The host was extremely kind and helpful, responding immediately to any questions we had. When I was looking for a hairdryer in the bathroom we were using, he bought a second one without hesitation, which really impressed us. We highly recommend this place. We fell in love with Norway, and this accommodation made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely choose it again!

Great choice for traveling through Lofoten

Excellent location to drive through the Lofoten Islands. Appreciate dedicated refrigerator and cupboard space. Kitchen and living room area were good. Very helpful to have the washer and dryer.

Bedrooms were very tight on space. It might help to change out the one rack in the room and put in a more efficient space for storing items. The bed was comfy, slept well.

Great place to stay while hiking/exploring Lofoten

The location is great for hikes, Leknes is close-by even with a bus so lots of connections can be made to other parts of Lofoten, and Ballstad is a nice and quiet town. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and tools, and spacious, the fridge and cabinets provide ample place to store stuff, and the coffee machine was great. The views are amazing from both our room's windows and the common area's windows. Also, the blinds worked well on our windows to keep the light out - a first for us in Lofoten.

It has a great stay

I stayed 28 nights here. The place has been taking very good care. When I started to look at this place I saw people’s review saying the rooms don’t have mirrors. There is only one wash room for all 5 room guests.. but when I got here, they all improved. The hosts really take the feedbacks seriously. Simply the view from your own window is priceless. There is a nice balcony where the birds often stopped by. There is a hiking trail near by where you can go up and over look the islands. You shouldn’t miss Uttakleiv beach which is not far and personally I think is the best in Lofoten.

I would suggest to clean the “bird trace”more often :)

Lovely town, helpful host, good accommodation. I can only recommend this place!

The location is really good in Lofoten. It was clean, we got the new room, the kitchen's well eqiupped, parking is easy in front of the house. If you use the bus, the stop is just right in front of the house. They have washing machine and a dryer which you can use whenever you want. We stayed for 7 nights here and it was very useful! We had a really great experience here!

As a double bed it's quite common in Norway (or at least where we stayed during our holiday) that they have a 140x200 bed. But it was comfortable.

Excellent!

When we arrived we were welcomed by our host Ruben. He showed us around and explained they were doing some renovations. He was just finishing up with house cleaning and he did an exceptional job. The room was clean and very comfortable with great views. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. All the cabinets and drawers were labeled. Each room has a shelf for dried goods and a shelf in the refrigerator. Very well organized. It was very windy one day and the WiFi was knocked out, I wrote to Ruben and he immediately responded with a solution. Did I mention there is free laundry and detergent! The location was perfect, half way between all of the places we wanted to visit. Great restaurants in the area too! For the cost of our stay this was a great value. Thank you!

Great place to stay

Well set up with private rooms with a double bed, desk, shelves, and plenty of places to hang things. The shared bathroom and kitchen are great. The location is on the water and has beautiful views.

It's not close to cafes/shops/amenities so you'll most likely need a car. Leknes is only a 10min drive away

Overnight stays in Lofoten are never cheap, this place strikes a nice balance

Location just 10 min drive from E10 road, wonderfully beautiful view overlooking the harbour and the mountains. The room itself is small but very clean and comfortable. Shared kitchen has everything you might possibly need to cook or heat your own food (including microwave, kettle, coffee machine). Free easy parking right outside the entrance. The building is right on the road but not easy to spot (no big sign), just look for the building number (130) and you’ll be good. The building itself is very pretty. Decor in the room is nice. Self check-in is very easy, communication from the owners was great, in general great atmosphere. Shared bathroom was super clean and had everything you might need including hair dryer. Wi-fi worked well, the password is sent in a welcome message. Fully recommend for a stay in Lofoten.

Comfortable stay in a beautiful location!

We had a really lovely stay at the Fish Factory. Communication with the host is great! The view from the window was absolutely amazing! The room is clean, but still undergoing works - there were no light in the ceiling, just the cables. But it had a desk lamp and that was more than enough to light the room for what we needed. The bed was comfortable, with clean and fresh linen. The communal area is clean and cozy. The kitchen and bathroom are also clean. The smell from the fish outside didn't bother us at all. As it is definitely part of the experience. And to be honest, it didn't smell inside the property. Only outside. And you will find that smell all over Lofoten :) Definitely recommending it and we would stay there again for sure!

Exceptional

I stayed 5 nights here over Christmas and couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Ruben was extremely helpful and welcoming. When he was not around, I had the place to myself. The kitchen has everything you need, non-stop fresh coffee, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine (at last!); the lounge is spacious and comfortable, and the views from the big windows are something else. Location is great, with amazing winter walks from the door. I can whole heartedly recommend this place - I will be back one day for sure.
