Nice place, authentic rorbu and it was nice to be right on the water.

The location was great. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the fishery right down the road as well. We fished right off our back deck which was great. It was plenty roomy.

The way the rooms were set up was a little odd with the hallway being visible to outside view through a large window in the foryer. I didn't like feeling exposed. The window/door in the livingroom was the same way leaving me feeling exposed while walking around in my nightgown because there was only a very sheer curtain to cover the window and someone walked by going to their own room so they could see right in. It was a very basic room which was fine and it was comfortable enough.

Good for 1-2 nights transit travelling through Leknes area, close to Viking Museum if you have a car

Quiet, warm, heating worked well. Is a nice view overall from the property, located in small fishing village. Our unit 51 didn’t have a view.

Is too isolated & quite far from Leknes. Don’t book unless you have a car, this not a suitable accommodation location without a hire car. Strong smell of fish, parking area too far from unit door especially as I have a slight physical disability, initially told could park out front then told we couldn’t as likely block others. Be careful when booking as rooms are very basic dormitory style small twin bed rooms. Unless you specifically book a self contained unit.

Couldnt ask for better place to stay!

Stunning views and a truly beautiful place to stay.

Although check-in was listed as 3 PM, our room wasn’t ready until 5 PM, so we had to wait around two hours. The listing also mentioned a washer and dryer in the unit, but it turned out to be shared, not private, and required an extra fee to use. Other than that, the place itself was beautiful.

Excellent stay in Lofoten

The location! The price was very reasonable for the location and the quality. By the seaside in a peaceful area. Next to Lofoten Seafood Center where we had the best lunch of our whole trip. The service in Leknes (a few kilometers away) are good, there are even three different cafeterias, shopping centre and severeal shops. Easy to make day trips by car to e.g. Reine and Å.

There could have been salt and pepper and maybe instant coffee and tea.

Beautiful spot

Love this location! Our room was perfect. Very comfortable with a large balcony and heated bathrooms floors. Enjoyed viewing the midnight sun from our room. Would recommend!!

Really cozy typical Norwegian hut to spend a few days.

Nice view, directly by the water. Very easy check-in and check out and really nice staff at the reception! Very clean apartment.

We were a little bit startled as the water started to turn yellow during our stay. After asking at the reception she told us that due to the heavy rainfalls, the water reservoir gets some dirt in it, but the water is still clean and drinkable.

Very nice cabins close to sea but no recycling at the property (?)

Location of the hotel was great, very close to sea and mountains (with nice hiking path very near). The cabin we stayed in was recently renovated and clean and the view from the 'living room' windows were amazing. Bed rooms were really small but functional.

As the cabin was recently renovated it is hard to believe that the shower was so bad. Very low water pressure with almost no possibility to change the water temperature. Kitchen had very little table-ware, no potholder and the brush for the floor was broken. The most surprising thing was that there was NO RECYCLING at all in the location! One just put all the things in the same wastebasket. Its hard to imagine that this kind of things still happen in Europe and in Norway... At the booking web pages there is information about beach close by but there was none as there were just newly built houses there.

Beautiful accommodation in a peaceful, scenic location

The rorbua was in a beautiful location, right on the water. It was exceptionally peaceful - all we could hear was the sound of seagulls. The lounge/diner was large and had a fantastic view. Everything was incredibly clean and the furnishings were modern and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

The location was exceptional, the rorbu cabin was well situated right by the water on a little secondary harbour. The site was very peaceful and ideal for resting, after a long day sightseeing. The staff was welcoming and very helpful with booking a table at the restaurant’s diner buffet, which is handy if you are only there for one or two nights.

I thought the price of the diner and breakfast buffets were a bit high, for a limited choice of items and not many fresh goods.

Our rorbu was extremely clean and comfortable. The location was very central, perfect for exploring the islands. We loved being able to prepare our meals and relax after a long day of site seeing. The staff are friendly and very helpful with offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit.

The stay was great! Choose this location as I wanted a kitchenette and a place that was centrally located on Lofoten. Just over an hour from Reine, and minutes away from Leknes. The room was great, loved the heated floor in the bathroom, and the balcony from my room (#19) was great with an amazing view.

Not a complaint at all - I was looking for a quiet stay away from crowds. However, if you are looking for food options, you will need to drive or buy groceries and cook for yourself - there is nothing walkable.

Superb

The location is great, we saw the northern lights in late September from this place, it's quiet and not having too many lights around. We rented one rorbu house for 2 couples, the dormitories were quite small, but enough for 2 people, however the living room had enough of space and a lot of light in Scandinavian style. The German lady at the reception was very nice. Great place to stay at when in Lofoten, we easily reached to the famous Lofoten beaches from here (20 mins drive).
